yup, not INTs, no forced throws, no throws into double coverage, no drop INTs, avg score of 30 .. yeah in no way was this a jimmy game

I meant it in the sense that he was more of a pure 'game manager' in terms of impact. Call it an Alex Smith style win, lol.

Did Alex ever go 9-0?

At Utah yeah. And in high school.

Yeah, this game felt weird. Purdy was just off, not by much. Alex was always - off by a ton on the deep passes, and of course check down charlie was his nickname. Loved the deep Purdy to Jauan throws, those took some guts that I don't think a guy like Alex would throw. Just my opinion, of course. I don't get the cautious game manager feeling from Brock that I remember from Alex.

That was the year gore broke onto the scene. I'm glad he's with the organization again. Even when he left, you could tell he still loved the 49ers. He had so much heart and soul for the game and this organization. He's one of the few players in recent history was that unanimously loved, for good reason too.

Was the following season when Turner was OC that Gore broke out. Smith finished that season 16/16 in td/int I believe.

Kevan Barlow was the man that season. What a time to be alive.

You're right, it was 2006. Gore and smith were 2005 rookies. The only good thing we did for a young Alex was give him a beast running back to lean on. Hahaha

i feel like gore was the last of the "bell cows". Him, peterson, LT. You just don't see it for very long anymore

CMC does a pretty good impression of Roger Craig and Marshall Faulk.

Saw a tweet refer to him as Marshall Mathers Faulk. Chef's kiss.

CMC might win awards this year. He's already at
44 Attempts 268 yards

i saw a cool that he is near breaking the record for most consecutive games scoring a touchdown. He also has won every game as a 49er besides the KC. It's crazy that we haven't lost a regular season game with him that he's been here for at least a week lol
Career full games:

MIA - W, 1 INT
TB - W
SEA - W
WAS - W, 1 INT
LV - W, 1 INT
AZ - W
SEA - W
DAL - W
PIT - W, 1 LF
LAR - W

So in the 10 full games he's played he is 10-0 with only 4 turnovers.

i thought this was probably his best pass today. Right nice placement on this kne
take that Smokey!

I'm still suspect that mcvay took the field goal to beat the spread. Lol NFL should investigate that. I bet a lot of people lost money on that.
