it was nothing but just a POOR pass.. it happens to the best of US... the problem w/his passes is that he tried to get the ball w/a lower trajectory instead of just lobbing it and allow the receiver to run under the ball.. had Purdy done it this way, then both would have been two (2) TDs easily...

but.. STEADY PURDY is human !!!

There's a blueprint for Purdy now, dare him to throw deep.

no NFL defense is going to beat us doing that, Purdy had some misses deep yesterday but that is not his MO in the past, I suspect he is still adjusting after surgery and I hope teams test him deep all season long

Unless he proves his long range, defenses will have no fear. Gonna make it harder on the offense playing with a handicap.

Brock has it on tape that he can hit these throws. No competent defense is going to play with fire and let Brock get these looks in the deeper portions of the field. What's important is that Brock is looking at, and targeting these deeper routes.
We actually haven't seen Brock post injury attempt the deep throws in games until yesterday. I wonder if the accuracy issue is going to last this whole season.

I said it after two quarters in the Miami game this kid is a way better QB than Jimmy. I am not trying to pick any fights, but I have seen enough football in my life to know a good one when I see it.

Yep, when ya know, ya know. Something changed when he hit that field..like something special. Cheesy sounding maybe but true. It was just there.

Exactly and we aren't saying he's the next Montana, but certainly better than what we've had lol I am loving what I am seeing so far.

You'd figure he'd challege himself during the game, iirc he missed aiyuk, jennings and a walk in deebo td....he could've at least went 1 for 3. Niners should have obliterated the Rams. Hope this isnt a sign of things to come. Gonna be hard to win it all playing small ball in the playoffs.

Guys aren't perfect, this is what drives me nuts about the QB threads, it's like we expect him to be 100%. Normally I think he has plus accuracy. This was an off game, which for BP is rare. He took it hard, you could tell, and I am sure it will a point of emphasis for him to hit em going forward. Let's see how he does on the next one.

Well, Deevah can't run the deep route.. that's not where he's good at.. he's good after catching the ball.

and as far as YUCK goes, Shanny just doesn't send his receivers deep..

both Dee and Aiyuk went deep
Brock did hit his toughest deep pass, 1 on 1 with Jennings. But he's got to hit some of those open ones. Not 100% of them but yesterday was 0/3

He didn't complete it but he threw it 45 air yards. Maybe people can stop saying he can't throw it past 30 yards.... Grant.... he just needed to float it a little. I bet he hits one on Thursday

Who said he can't throw it past 30 yards lol? If he couldn't he wouldn't be an NFL QB.
