I think BP being off at first was partly just getting past the TNF groggies..who the f wants to play TNF. But knew he would get into rhythm.

No it was that 6 man front that NY ran all night. They blitzed him more than any team ever has. It definitely threw him off his game. I wa simpressed hiw he came back and had a big second half. The TD pass to Deebo was a thing of beauty from him and Deebo.
I'm wondering what's going on with the fumbled snaps. I think he's had about 4 or 5 already. Even though he recovered them that's a concern.

thats exactly what it was. Brock was under pressure all night bc the Giants brought more people then can be blocked. I'm impressed he got the ball off on some of those passes. Thats why everything was short. Our offense is kinda fit for that with the YAC bros catching the ball.
Some of the fumbled snaps are on the center not knowing the snap count.

Ice yes, but can't have those (wr playing db) throws against actual NFL teams. His numbers so far show that he can play defenses like a meistro
That Kittle turning into a DB play was hilarious. I was at the game so I'm not sure if they showed it on TV but right after Kittle batted it down, he celebrated like a corner and put on a seatbelt. Lolol
The two WR PBU plays had happy endings because they were on target and the receivers were there to knock them down. If he threw inaccurate balls respective to the receivers they'd have been picked.
So they weren't 'WTF was he thinking' passes directly into the hands of defenders, which would be a huge worry.

Whatever the problem they need to fix it. They've been lucky so far but eventually they're going to lose one of those fumbles.

Giants had an interesting scheme, show 0 press then don't do it half the time.... if you call a pass play to beat the press then they shift to zone post snap you got a problem... so I think the slow start was Brocky recognizing and adjusting to this scheme and having only a short week to get ready for it. hell, he had a QBR of 111 and threw for 300 yards and 2 tds, didnt turn the ball over or do anything stupid, didnt get hurt, and most importantly got the dub

Yea but this game reminds me of Trey's preseason game where the box score doesn't match the eye test.

King is absolutely right. Purdy's draft status is coloring these reactions, because that's the standard Purdy is expected to return to - 7th round nobody.
If he was a 1st or 2nd round pick people would be saying "man, he's really living up to his expectations" instead.
That's the way media narratives work. It's unfair, and it doesn't really matter for what happens on the field, but it's the reality.
Tom Brady had won THREE Super Bowls and still prior to the 2007 16-0 year some in the media framed it as him being lucky to be matched up with that defense, "just" an elite game manager, etc. The draft spot of Purdy is going to stick with him for a LONG time even if he wins multiple championships.

This is why a smart QB is often better than a physically gifted QB. I wonder if Josh Allen would have been able to adjust like that in the 2nd half.
This is an example of why selecting a QB out of college is such a crapshoot. No college team runs sophisticated defenses like you see in the NFL. They mostly just line uo and play man hoping their talent beats your talent. Some very gifted QBs just can't process what they see when they come to the NFL.

there is nothing about Lance that reminds me of Brocky, except that Brocky should have been a top 5 pick like whats his nuts was

THIS
Brocky has giant nuts to go along with his big cock... the way he stood in the pocket with the free rusher bearing down on him, knowing he would get hit but still delivered the ball
