absolutely he's got balls of steel... not fun getting hit by a free rushing LB bearing down on you but Brocky delivers the ball and take it

that was my biggest knock on Steve Young, i know he is god on the wz but I never really liked him... it seemed like the more pressure there was the more his balls would shrink up into his stomach and he would do something stupid, SY should have taken home 2 or 3 more Lombari's

I think I heard we've had six in a row, which is a franchise record.

That means, against the NY Giants, in 4 quarters Purdy only threw for 109 yards. Not going to cut it against a super bowl defense and offense. Luckily, most teams don't have both of those like we do and I think we have the best roster in the league. No teams can compete with that. But Purdy is great at making plays out of nothing, escaping pressure, and makes good decisions. His deep balls were nice yesterday and his 2 TD passes were elite! The second we pay him like a franchise QB and lose all that talent around him, our fanbase may be in for a rude awakening. But if we can find a way to keep him with this same roster for the next 5 years, we'll be competing for Superbowls. He is the person we need with this roster to win games. Way better than Jimmy G in my opinion. Cohn likes to hate on the niners and be negative, but at the same time a lot of fans live with rose colored glasses on and don't actually see what's happening in front of them. I think as a fan you need to root for your team and players and want them to succeed and be good, but that does not mean ignoring all the things that aren't great. We have to be balanced. Either way, I love watching Purdy way more than Jimmy and hope he stays healthy because if Darnold has to play that would not be good. This is our year to bring home that sixth Lombardi and long as Purdy and supporting cast stay healthy!

Which is how the offense was designed to operate. Which is why they draft guys like Deebo and Aiyuk, and Jennings and Bell and Kittle. If the offense was being run by Mike Martz or Don Coryell then maybe Purdy wouldn't be the optimum QB to have. But those guys aren't running the show and so far, Brock has done a pretty good job of providing the type of play that Kyle seems to want. Cowboys should be a good test to see how much he has developed since last year. Go Niners!

Had to share Cohn's analysis of Purdy

Threw for 310 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, posted a passer rating of 111.3, and yet those numbers don't show how many check down passes went for big gains because great players picked up big yardage after the catch. Purdy's two touchdown passes were absolute dimes, but he also threw at least two other passes that should have been intercepted, plus he fumbled a snap for the second time this season. Overall, Purdy played well, but not as well as last week when he missed three deep passes. His play has gotten slightly worse every week this year. Perhaps the league is beginning to catch up with him. He'll need to play much better to beat playoff teams.

You have to wonder, if there's something psychological going on here. Lol

Yes, there definitely is. It's called TDS (tiny dick syndrome). It's main symptoms are extreme ignorance of the game of football, an unusually severe disconnect between perception and reality, and a penis the size of a tic-tac. It is most common among talent-less hack nepo-babies whose fathers carry the genetic marker for it.

You can work the numbers to try and downgrade his performance if that is what makes you happy (as dumb as that is), I don't care one way or another. But I have to ask what this has to do with Grant Cohn and his unfortunate, but well earned, genetic penile disorder?

You're probably right. Or one of his sycophants who have a craving for tic-tacs. Grant Cohn followers should here forth be labeled the TDS (tiny dick squad).

That knock on Brock is such bs. What is a QB supposed to do when he is getting blitzed? He is supposed to get the ball out quick and let his playmakers make plays. We all know what he can do with 3 or more seconds in the pocket. You're never going to get that against the blitz and he was blitzed more than anyone I have seen over the past 20+ years. Maybe ever.

Just looked at last years first three weeks. Offensive points scored were 10 - vs Chicago, 27 vs Seattle, and 10 vs Denver. So 30 point per game, the first three weeks of this year definitely is a TON better than last year.

P.S. 1-2 last year vs 3-0 this year is also arrow up.
Another thing purdy accomplished is getting kyle and john new deals after they blew their load on trey lance

what cant purdy do?

I love that we've got off to a great start as a whole. We've really dominated our opponents for the most part, but also have left so much on the table. That's the exciting part to me. So so much more to look forward to and it seems like we will be hitting all gears at the perfect time, while maintaining a top record.

Take care of your chicken (Marshawn Lynch slang) and see you boys next Sunday!
