Well, that is supported by the fact that he was able to luck into finding a Purdy in the 7th round. At least it didn't take Kyle 17 years to find Brock.

They can't find actual bad passes. Never losing, throwing touchdowns and winning games is not enough.

Your shtick really is lame at this point.

Just put him on ignore. I took him off of ignore for a while for some unknown reason, and he's back on there. It's nice.

Bring on Dally.
I am glad Purdy isn't making back breaking mistakes. I hope he never turns into a Dak or Romo-type QB who turns the ball over in crucial moments. Glad he's holding up in that regard.
… and that's the biggest difference between Jimmy and Purdy. Those back breaking ints in the middle of the field he Judy's misses.

when I watch Brock and then watch guys like Jimmy/Dak/Cousins etc - I am so grateful. lol we're lucky gents! we have a guy who is a beast and protects the ball.

Dallas will test Brock's poise, perhaps more than any other game. The competition will be intense and physical. Whether or not we win, if he can maintain that assassin's demeanor, he's definitely on his way to achieving all of great things we think he can.

Judging by how Dallas looked today, Brock will be handing off a lot against Dallas. They looked really soft today against the Cardinals, whose run defense also looked soft.

CMC will feast if Dallas brings that soft run defense with them to Santa Clara. Plus, if we get a big lead and Dak has to throw the ball more....

Agreed. But I think Dallas has more cause to intensely hate the Niners over the Cardinals. It's personal for them. Nevertheless, the outcome should be the same.
Not just the run defense for Dallas. Those Dbs don't want none of Deebo.

Shanny has said, you really don't know what you have until you get them in the build with the organization, regarding the draft picks. These days, the top prospects are coached to say and act the right way before the draft. Teams can better their odds with research and all but there's a lot of things that can go wrong.

Kyle has a relatively good hit rate with regards to QB's - relatively speaking to other coaches. He hit on Jimmy. Keep in mind, *nobody* knew what or who Jimmy was really, until he played in Kyles offense and went 5-0 in 2017. Prior to that, he was an unknown quantity, not unlike Purdy before the Miami game. I wonder if there's an active purpose to supplement the top end qb with a later round prospect. Shanny and dad did the same with RG3 and then Cousins in the later round. They got Trey and then a year later got Brock in the 7th. They had an idea of Cousins and Brock, but no way he would know Brock would be this good before drafting him.

Agree 💯%, they didn't know who they got. If they *knew* what they had, they'd have picked him in the fourth round - or earlier. I believe that's the grade Brock got in the 49er pre-draft evaluations. Knowing what they know now, they would have picked him MUCH earlier, for sure. It pays to be lucky. Kyle was lucky in finding Brock, for sure.

Could you image the webzines reaction if they drafted him in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Btw we should factor in the timing component. This draft was before Treys second season. The need to draft a QB was very low.

Very true. After spending 3 first round picks on Trey, the Fanbase would revolt for spending the remainder of the of the draft capital on Brock.

But yea, Brock was basically their supposed backup QB to Trey. But they hit on a gem when they picked Brock, sort of like how Kyle hit on Kirk after picking RG3. Now whether they can keep Sam Darnold after this year, or they go with a young gun again, remains to be seen. Personally, I'd like to see QB3 be another low round pick. I like Allen, but am intrigued if lighting will strike twice and they can potentially get another gem of a rookie to take that QB3 spot.

Brock is insanely accurate. That's what gets me. The guy has a great quick release and anticipation. But that dang accuracy is out of this world.

Yeah, which accuracy is one of the sexiest thing to me when watching a QB play. Couple that with his immense trust in his guys with the anticipation - its orgasmic! Only time when brock makes TWP is when he sees something he hasn't seen and tries to make a play (like the first drive of the last game). When we play Dallas, it will be his second time playing them and kyle knows Dan Quinns system very well.

I feel really confident with Brock at the helm.

We shouldn't let the cards game fool us about Dallas, they're a very talented team and have played very physical and fast. For Example, last year in the playoffs - they played great against us. Very fast and violent on their part.

Dallas has a tendency to play to their opponents caliber, which to me says a lot about the leadership (which isn't a good thing). So in other words, they may come to play big time against us cause of the recent rivalry and whats at stake (seeding).

Todays game did shed light though on their weaknesses. A lot of people have been saying to run it right at Parsons, maybe they are right? I didn't pay a ton of attention to who they were running at but they gave up a ton yards on the ground.
