Maybe we can get a shot at trading for Rashaun Slater.

Purdy put Perry on the Arizona high school football map. Then he put Iowa State on the national map. And now, the quarterback continues to amaze with what he's doing for the San Francisco 49ers after being the last guy picked in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Dude is just a game changer and Carries programs! That's my qb :')

He's a generational talent!

I'm hoping he breaks Big Ben's rookie win streak record!

That would be quite something if he broke Ben's record
Our current 13 game win streak is huge but damn, hurts is 20-1 in his last 21 starts. Super impressive.

Very similar situation with Brock and the Niners. The team is absolutely stacked and he plays well.

Just upsetting that they were able to land Jalen Carter in the draft, lol.

Yeah, they got lucky that he fell to them because of personal issues he has. My hope is that he's been lazy and the length and grind of an nfl season wears on him, sort of like what happened to Drake Jackson last year, and he struggles to finish the year strong.

they also landed a stud linebacker, I believe from Georgia as well.

Eagles spent a first round pick on Jordan Davis (DT) last year, I don't know how good he is, but only has 1.5 sacks in his career. I hope they missed on him and he's a first round bust.

Lol they love Georgia players. They've drafted Jordan Davis (DT), Jalen Carter (DT), & Nolan Smith (LB) - all in the first round in the last two years. Georgia has had an incredible defense the last handful of years though, so wouldn't surprise me if they pan out.

looks like Jordan Davis was all rookie team last year, but that doesn't mean much. May not of been many rookie DTs playing. Per Wikipedia:
"Davis was placed on injured reserve on November 3, 2022, after suffering an ankle injury in Week 8.[25] He was activated on December 3. Davis ended his rookie season with 18 tackles and one pass defensed in 13 games and five starts."

Is 5 good? LOL. KC's defense has been much improved. Very noticeable. Looks like we're going to have an explosive game against Seattle.

Philly lost their DC Jonathan Gannon to the Cardinals, but this new DC for Philly is a Pete Caroll disciple. Looks like the Philly defense is a mirror image of our defense. Hopefully Kyle can scheme up some cover 3 breakers that gash the Philly defense when we play them. They look tough against the run, but seem to be a bit weaker on the pass defense. We'll see when we go up against them where they are at. Jalen Carter looks like a monster, hopefully Jordan doesn't develop into one either.
Lol purdy is comically low, f'n pff

I like our defense matching up against their offense. I also think Kyle will do a great job scheming up our offense against their defense. I'm hoping by week 13, our offense is a lot more sharp and Brock is feeling great. He will have seen a lot more and gained a ton of experience. I think week 13 will determine who gets the 1 seed. I feel really good about our chances.

i think Philly losing both their coordinators, specifically their offensive coordinator, is a bigger deal than people realize. Their OC last year is an excellent coach and qb guru. Huge loss for them. I'm also expecting Carter to slow down by week 13. He doesn't seem like a hard worker and 13 weeks is a long time playing football - I doubt his body is prepared for the long rigor of an nfl season. We will see. Our interior will most likely struggle against their interior line.

the big edge they have on us is their o line is better than ours. Lane Johnson hasn't given up a sack since 2020. Lol at least that's what an analyst said. I'm hoping hargrave and co will be juiced and ready to lay the smack down.

Cards only have given up 12.
They are going to be a tough out I think.

I think it'll be a tougher game than people think, but I think we will pull away in the second half. I watched the Dallas v cards game and I was impressed by their defense.

the cards were playing good defense, they weren't getting lucky. The cowboys weren't playing poorly, it was fast, sticky defense by the cards. I was actually impressed. The weakness I saw on their D was they don't have that great of a pass rush.

We need to contain dobbs (which I don't think is that tall of a task but important) and play stout run D. Their running back is huge. So cant let them sustain long drives and wear us out.

they're coming in riding high and confident after their last win but we should do more than enough to win.

To me the Eagles losing their offensive coordinator is not much of a big deal because Nick Sirianni is a offensive coordinator himself previous to him being a HC for the Eagles. Nick isn't as versed in the defense as - I think - Kyle is. Although I'm sure he's not a chump on the defensive X's and O's. Still, you are right, their slow offensive start is probably somewhat due to losing Shane Steichen. Nick doesn't have a three time super bowl winning papa helping him hire OC's and DC's for sure. So, yeah, agree with you Coaching is a definite edge for the 49ers.

Our OLine vs the Eagle DLine is going to be a huge matchup. Our OLine has to win that battle. Our OLine has to keep progressing every week so they are ready for them by week 13. I hope our interior OLIne will be better than Carter and Davis by then. Nice thing is that our OLine has to face our elite DLine in practice and that should help them progress bit by bit as they head towards the Eagle DLine battle. It's going to be a good game for sure.
