Nick isn't as versed in the defense as - I think - Kyle is. Although I'm sure he's not a chump on the defensive X's and O's. Still, you are right, their slow offensive start is probably somewhat due to losing Shane Steichen. Nick doesn't have a three time super bowl winning papa helping him hire OC's and DC's for sure. So, yeah, agree with you Coaching is a definite edge for the 49ers.
Our OLine vs the Eagle DLine is going to be a huge matchup. Our OLine has to win that battle. Our OLine has to keep progressing every week so they are ready for them by week 13. I hope our interior OLIne will be better than Carter and Davis by then. Nice thing is that our OLine has to face our elite DLine in practice and that should help them progress bit by bit as they head towards the Eagle DLine battle. It's going to be a good game for sure.
I don't think the eagles head coach calls the plays though. I could be wrong but their previous OC worked wonders with a handful of really good QBs. The play calling is a big deal, I think we've seen how it looks so far. They may turn it around, who knows.
we took one of their central cogs, so that is a good thing facing their DL. We've also had some great practice this season with the Rams & Giants DL - they have some studs. I'm not too concerned.

Explosive plays generated on offense in 2023 so far. The scary thing about MIA's offense is how explosive they are running the ball, which will force defenses to respect their run game going forward.

That's interesting that we aren't far behind them and they just dropped 70… it isn't like they've had much more explosive runs than we have? I like our overall team more than the dolphins and last time we played them, we beat the brakes off of em. We will see if they can maintain this.

Dolphins are a team that if your d is physical and actually good they can be beat. Gotta hit Tua constantly like we did last year, when things are going well for them early youre pretty much screwed

Technically I see us tied with them with explosive plays since there were big misses in the 3 weeks we've played.

49ers, I agree, will have the coaching edge. The DLines are comparable. Our DLine, I think, is younger. They have fletcher cox, he's ancient. we've averaged 30 points per game, so if we hit that, I dont think the Eagles can match it. Injuries will probably play some role. We'll see how it goes.
McKivitz and the crew has to progress in the AZ game to give me some comfort level going into Dallas and later facing the Eagles.

They are built like the Smurfs of old. Small fast recievers, small fast running backs. Very explosive players, but when faced with a big and fast defense, these types of teams tend to collapse.

Notice this the only good thing Russell Wilson is good at.
Combine this with that article that says the deep ball league wide is at an all time low since the early to mid 2000s, and you can see why he's done nothing lately.

Sample size too small. Want to see more from a 7th rounder
