Sample size too small. Want to see more from a 7th rounder

he just need more reps but tons of potential

That's interesting that we aren't far behind them and they just dropped 70… it isn't like they've had much more explosive runs than we have? I like our overall team more than the dolphins and last time we played them, we beat the brakes off of em. We will see if they can maintain this.

Dolphins are a team that if your d is physical and actually good they can be beat. Gotta hit Tua constantly like we did last year, when things are going well for them early youre pretty much screwed

The last time we played them, they hit a 75-yarder on the first play...and got beat. Tua did not play well in that game.

I think their OL is much much better than they were last year. If that line can stay healthy, they're going to be very tough to beat IMO.

The problem is, Mostert and Tua have never stayed healthy either.

The left and right tackle spots have been an eye sore in pass pro. Tua's interior O line has held up very well though.

I actually feel bad for burrow. Lmao dude is going to get snapped in half against us. They'll HAVE to do nothing but short throws if they want him to remain healthy. I am a big fan of burrow, but they don't stand a chance against our defense. Lol

lets see how the cards game looks but it should go well and then we can b slap the cowboys around for a few hours the following weekend 😈

All for b-slapping the 🐄 💩. Dak is not an SB qb..he gunna get smashed.

Miami is a great team but they arent a juggernaut despite what they did past week lot of recency bias

They're a good offense, no doubt, but they've played some of the worst defenses in the league. Let's see how they do against the bills. They tend to struggle against physical defenses.

im more concerned about Philly & Dallas than I am Miami, right now.

It's epic for us that the AFC East and NFC East play each other this year, so we'll see how Miami and Buffalo fare against Philly and Dallas all before January!

One aspect for the Niners this year is they will play absolutely almost everybody this regular season in the NFC (minus Detroit), and we'd have to beat Philly/Dallas at least once if not twice to make it to the bowl (can't imagine they both get eliminated early on).

Based on how we do against Philly and Dallas and how they do against Miami and Buffalo, should give this team as good an indicator as possible of our destiny. The Bengals and Ravens will be good AFC tuneups for the Niners prior to the postseason.

Of course the big wildcard is that team in Missouri that can win the Super Bowl against anyone with only 3 all pro players, and a hobbling QB, and the rest no names..........and the Niners even with a QB capable of 30+ PPG, and all the names on defense.........we STILL DON'T KNOW IF IT'S ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!

It's still super early in the season. Will have to see how injuries and seeding play out across the league. How teams look down the stretch. All I want to see right now is our team stay healthy and improve weekly while stacking W's. If our team just stays focused and present, we will be in great shape.
I'm absolutely stoked how purdy has played. Last week first drive he seemed shaky but turned it right around. I wonder how long till I can fully commit that I'm not going to be snake bitten like in the past. I fully believe in Kyle and for him to say he's the most comfortable qb he had. I feel like it's time since Kyle did have mvp Ryan at qb.
Purdy definitely passes the eye ball test. He makes throws every game that I really haven't seen by 49ers in 20 years. Those outside the number sideline throws really haven't been a thing since idk Garcia? Jimmy would hit a couple a year but more times than not get picked off. Colin tried it but never worked, don't really remember smith making those throws.
Its actually crazy writing this thinking of last 20 year haven't had a consistent outside the numbers throwing qb.

To think that KC was the last regular season loss and that Brock has yet to lose in the regular season blows the s**t right out of my mind!
Watching more than half of these starting NFL qb like Jordan Love, makes me appreciate Brock for what he's doing right now. How the f**k is he a last pick of the draft. Unbelievable.

There's no way to see how big of a chip is on a QBs shoulder
It's nice to have a qb that isn't distracted without outside noise but just continues to be focused on goals and improving his game. Impressive, the mental balance this guy seems to have and on a consistent basis..and at such a young age. Kap was way too cocky/distracted..Jimbo..just didn't have the passion this guy has, also distracted...Lance, well...nvm lol. Not since Young have I had this kind of confidence in a qb. Just laser focused preparing, learning, adjusting and winning. Hungry as hell. Willpower of a mfer.
LOL love it. Def a shot at Jimmy but he's just saying facts.

Shanahan joined KNBR on Thursday for his weekly radio interview and was asked if he would say his comfort level with Purdy exceeds that of any other quarterback he's worked with as the 49ers head coach.

"Yeah, I would," Shanahan responded on the "Tolbert and Copes" show. "And he's earned that. Each game, you get more and more comfortable with him, but you kind of understand his thought process. He's a great guy to talk to. When he does make a mistake, he knows why he did. There's not much random stuff, and [it's] really easy to get on the same page with him."
