For sure. Lol any real fan, whether you liked jimmy or not, knows that he had a ton of wtf plays. Plays that you can't even really explain. Lol he's had them in all his raider games too.

I've said it a million times, I like jimmy, but he has limitations. The more I've watched him with the raiders, the more I've realized how great of a job kyle did with him. The way he protected the team, and jimmy, from jimmy. Lol I love Kyle and always have, but now I have even more respect for him after watching jimmy in his first three raiders game.

Just watching Brock, its so clear how much of a better mind he has for the game. He sees the fields and reads the defenses exponentially better. Even when Brock has a bad throw/read - it's explainable. Lol it's usually he was late on the throw or he didn't see a defender. With jimmy it's like "I have absolutely no clue why he attempted or what he was thinking". Lmao

I like him too. I only took issue with replacing him with Trey cause I didn't care for Trey as a prospect either. I was more than happy to replace Jimmy with Brock essentially after the dolphins game.

Julian Edelman said jimmy was kinda naive and tends to make wtf play but is a good player, which I think is accurate. He belongs in the league but I don't like him as the main player to try and win a Super Bowl. It's clear, based on what Brock's doing, that Jimmy was holding us back

I've defended him a lot, and still do depending on the criticism, but the more I watch him with the raiders - the more I realize it was mainly Kyle and the talent around him. I question how well jimmy can even go through 3-4 reads after watching him recently.

Well I've always known jimmy was limited, I was never in denial about that. I've mainly defended him when people say he sucked. I think there are things he does very well but now I can see that Kyles scheming and positioning helped him more than I realized.

I liked Jimbo but wasn't crazy about him. I felt indifferent for the most part. Good qb but not one I really got into. Lol there were a few 9er fans at the Raiders pre-season screaming for Jimmy to come back for qb1 and actually dissing my Purdy jersey..I am like..what are you on? Lol. Lmao some people just struggle to admit they were wrong once they make an emotional investment into a player. I personally don't care if someone, or myself, is wrong. I'm more interested in figuring out what I missed and growing from it.

i love Brock. It just feels different watching him than any other qb we've had for at least the last 20+ years. I can't wait to watch him and this team continue to grow. I'm so damn excited for each game. I've been wearing my lucky Purdy jersey and the only time I didn't wear it was the first half of the rams game… but I put it on for the second half… 0.0

Brock was an eye opener to me. A guy comes out from the 7th round level and outplays Jimmy. That just does not happen every day. Not only outplays him, but every QB rookie/first-time starter we've had since YA Tittle.

Give this guy a strong ground game (Montana/Young had Craig/Watters) and he'll never have a bad game. Give him two elite offensive tackles, and he'll dominate like Kurt did in the 2000's. CMC is Brock's Marshall Faulk. Next draft, I'd love for Kyle to find a young 220 lb Saquon Barkley/CMC in the draft to groom behind CMC. Maybe that guy is already on the team in Mason and Elijah.

Exciting times to be a 49er fan.
