Maybe it's just how things work out in the play?

Regardless that's two TD passes passer rating eill never give Brock.

I don't think so, not when it happens almost every time. I'd imagine they're practicing it that way.

It's happened like four times my man.

The backwards pass also leaves open the possibility of a CMC pass, which we did successfully last year.

GOod point. But to me I feel like he just throws it where he thinks the guy can make the best play. Maybe those are deliberately backwards. Or maybe he sees the defense and puts it there instead of leading the guy forward. Either way, I'm not complaining about a touchdown.

super solid

We will never have enough pass attempts for him to be top 5 in raw passing yards. all about efficiency
I'll say this though:

Next week if Brock plays well and we win, there better not be a single media person doubting. Tonight showed he can be great. Next week will show if he's elite to the world. It's the prove it week, because that defense is legitimate. As in possibly an All Time one (seriously man... ). If Brock plays well against them? Phone it in.

Add 4 TD's to his stats and look where his QB rating and TD percentage would be. Maybe Kyle is holding his stats down so he's cheaper to sign lol.

No only two were would-be touchdowns. But there was maybe one or two others.

Regardless, that's why I like QBR. 97.2. That's 2.8 points away from perfection.

If Kap throws to Moss instead of Crabtree twice in a row we win that Super Bowl. He might have lost a step, having only 4.4ish speed. But he was still 6'4 and could still jump. Why in the world did Kap throw fades to Crabtree when Moss was on the other side? Le sigh...

Cause kap is an egotistical dumbass and his fades were crap. Dude rarely threw with touch or an arch on his pass.

To me it felt like either he want to get his boi the game winner, or he just got tunnel vision and choked, and didn't consider the available information, such as RANDY FREAKING MOSS on the other side.

I remember watching a breakdown and it was like everyone except Crabtree was open multiple times and he just funneled it to Crabtree over and over again. Kap was like jimmy to me, they weren't great at reading defenses and usually decided before hand who to throw it to. But idk, who cares. We have an exponentially better qb now.

Oh absolutely. I put that stat there knowing that we're a run first team. I will start citing his ranking in passing attempts as well, to give it perspective. He's 23rd in attempts by the way.

You think he'll hold his 27th ranking? He may slip due to that one incompletion.

The passing yards in the top 10 with being ranked 23rd in attempts is very impressive, that shows efficiency and execution while not being conservative.

thats what YPA is for (basically will assume his passing yard standing assuming everyone has same attempts)

Also you're right ideally we wouldn't want to pass that much were a balanced offense and if were passing that much means were down
I LOVE BROCK!!!!

Steven Ruiz is at Cohn-level trolling with that s**t.

I mean, outright lies:

"BIGGEST WEAKNESS: POCKET PRESENCE

Some of that creativity comes at a cost. Purdy routinely drops his eyes and misses receivers running open downfield. That's fairly common for shorter quarterbacks."

This isn't even arguable - this has NEVER HAPPENED in any of Brock's NFL games.
