At lest twice he gushed over how great Herbert is and how he's the reason SD has won 2 games. Not a mention of the day Brock had. I looked at Herbert's stas from yesterday and they were below his normal standard. 54% completions, 167 yards, one TD and one INT and a rating of 74. Purdy set a franchise record completing 21 of 22 (95%), for 283 yards and one TD. No INTs and a rating of 134. He has one fumbel and no INTs thus year. Still Cowherd doesn't mention Purdy and gushes over Herberet. No mention of CMC either.

I know he doesn't hate the Niners. He's said many times that he thinks it's going to be the Eagles or Niners in the SB.If Brock had been a first round pick last year he would be the best in that class. He would be looked at in a different light but because he was drafted so late, people are having a problem trying to see him as a good QB.

If you want Cowherd's Niners takes he does a weekly Sunday night video with Middlekauf where they touch on the big games/teams - it almost always includes the 49ers

Here is yesterday's video.

we were just slapped across the face with arguably the best start to a rookie QBs career ever.. and some still thought going with a guy who had been ass, was the right move. Lol

when you see someone do special things, especially a young qb, you nurture it and see what it is.
not shelve it in hopes of someone doing better when the chance of that is like 0.00001%. Lmao insanity.
relax, enjoy the win
I'm very relaxed. Lol I was one of the few who thought Brock would be back for training camp. So I was never concerned about him not starting - I just don't understand as a fan how you can watch Brock in that stretch and not think he should be starting no matter what.

when you see greatness, or special ability, you nurture it. The only thing you owe the players you draft/sign is a chance to compete, nothing else. If you can't shine with your reps, then that's on you. You shouldn't get special privileges because of your draft spot.

I like this chart comparing some of the highest completion % games.

Yeah! I came across this earlier. Super impressive.

i love it cause Brock isn't playing ultra conservative and is still being ultra efficient.

Should we tell that idiot on Twitter who keeps posting cartoons of what he thinks Brock Purdy does? This is what people who think Brock Purdy is good and all the nonsense he posts on there.

He talks about them all the time and has pretty good takes on the 9ers. I'm sure he'll be talking about him later this week and I'm curious what Greg Cosell says this week.
The more I watch Brock the more I'm impressed with how he handles pressure and how he handles the ball. The kid is special and I look forward to watching him for years to come. Glad we have him!!!! Oh yea, tear the Cowgirls up BP!!!!

Seriously, one of those most efficient QB performances of all time. Crazy.

Yeah, I believe we have a true franchise guy and we are fortunate enough to watch it blossom before our eyes. I'm so excited to watch him grow and see where him and Kyle lead this franchise. Hopefully it's back to the promise land. It's clear to me that he's a special player, we are very fortunate.

He's probably off somewhere stewing over the 1 ball that hit the ground
you can tell he is a perfectionist

Yeah, over half of the most efficient games (>20 attempts) had fewer than 6 air yards per attempt. Wild.

Spaghetti at the bottom of the cook pot that gets stuck while cooking and hardens like f**king rock.
