I know he cant get a new contract yet but is there anything the team can do to slip him a milli along the way?

Yes, a briefcase full of cash. Eddie D style.

Idk exactly how it works but I know there is a separate bonus pool of money set aside for players who out play their contract. Check out this article for more info.

Interesting.

TY for the share.

I realize its not my money but damn. Bro needs some coin for what he is doing.

Well he will start getting $60M a year or so in 3 seasons. Just needs to stay healthy. Lol

Haha right?

Just for his sake I hope he gets a little money along the way because yes he can get injured but more so because he saved John and Kyle from surefire destruction over the Trey Lance debacle.

Most coaches/GMs would be in serious trouble after that....Brock saved them.

Break him off a stack.

Jed can do something similar to what warriors ownership has done, get him in on some early stage startup investments that most people don't have access to. He should also start to get more and more endorsement opportunities.

plus you get bonuses for things like winning playoff games, pro bowl, etc. those would be significant paychecks because of what he currently makes

I'm sure by now that he and his family have purchased one of those insurance policies that insure against injury before a large contract is signed. College players heading into the draft sometimes do that in their final college year. I can't remember which RB it was, but he blew his knee out in a bowl game and ended up getting a pretty sizeable payout from the insurance policy.

That would be nice.

Good discussion.

Thank you for the insight Tankle.

Willis McGahee. Still a good NFL player too.

How do I forget McGahee. Good call.

I remember seeing an article about this last year, I believe Huf made some money off of it because he was all pro and played all season - I think there was another niner too but can't quite remember. I remember at the time that Brock didn't qualify because he didn't play enough of the season.

Ah ha! Thanks! It was Gipson, Huf, and Brendel.

man Gipson has quietly been one of our best free agent signings in the Kyle/John era. Apparently gip & Huf are besties off the field. Brown said in a recent interview that gip is one of the coolest and helpful people hes ever met.

he's older but solid and has reliable hands. It was so annoying to watch tartt drop so many picks. Huf and gip have nice hands.

Brock has converted a minnesota Viking fan on this forum and has him saying Bang Bang Niner Gang LOL. I love our qb. Going to make our away game takeovers even better with him!
