I was too young to remember Montana at the beginning lol but was mesmerized in the late 80s when a bit older lol. Yeah, I know what you mean about Young, I think I was more concerned about his injuries than his football performance at times. Of course, he struggled with the concussions and such, which was a bummer. I love football but just wanted him to be ok lol. But yeah, SB year was a great one, monkey off the back as he said. You could feel the excitement he had holding that trophy. I adore Steve. I like his personality, comes across as just "a real guy". Authentic type of dude. He appears to have, what I guess some would say, "awkwardness" about him.. but I love that. Ok I will stop gushing about Young haha. So, that kid from AZ

Generally, when someone says something so ridiculously wrong, you can count it as sarcasm without a disclaimer. It can be difficult to detect, but not for everyone.

I agree 100%. Purdy just has a calmness while playing he does remind me of Joe. The kid is good and I can't wait to see where he takes us. Been a 49er fan since 78 and we struck gold with Mr Irrelevant!!!!!!
