The takeaway here is J Burrow ain't right

Lawrence having a much poorer start to the season than I realized as well.

Derek Carr and kirk Cousins being right at the average mark seems spot on, however.

CJ stroud is off to a good start. He was my fav qb in this draft. Love is doing better than I expected as well. Idk why the colts Richardson isn't on there but I thought he was be bad - I think he's been "okay".

Cool to see Goff doing well after the way the rams discarded him. Goff is a great fit for Detroit. Right personality for it too. They're over achieving and dangerous but I'm not worried about them beating us.

Probably doesn't have the minimum plays as he's split time with Minshew (who is also not on there for likely the same reason).

First off, Dwight Clark is not in the Pro Football HOF.

Secondly, it's not a coincidence that the 5-13 team that Belichick had in his first year and 2 games with Drew Bledsoe, became an 11-3 and Super Bowl team with Tom Brady. One was a legit Pro Bowl QB....the other is one of the greatest to ever do it - a true elite player. Brady had the likes of Reche Caldwell and was going to AFC Title games in the middle of that decade. He carried a lot of those guys.

Third, nowhere did I say a guy has to do this game in, game out, deliver every single time. Elite QB's can turn poor receivers into average ones, and average ones into good ones. You seem to think I believe you can drop an all time great QB, like Steve Young, on a terrible mid-80's Bucs team, and he'd turn that turd around. Of course he couldn't, because he was on that dreadful franchise and did nothing. The point, which was obviously lost on most of you, is that truly elite QB's can shoulder the vast majority of the load if he isn't surrounded by incredible playmakers the 49ers have. The point is, given the recent history of the 49ers, Purdy may be asked to carry more of the load because of injuries to guys like Deebo, CMC and Kittle, who have all had their share of missed games.

The best ever, such as the guys I mentioned in Montana, Brady and Elway did so. Because they put up better stats when surrounded by better players is irrelevant. My metric for elite is sound.
It's not actually, it's ridiculous. Elway never won anything before they got Davis at RB and improved the other talent and coaching around him. Montana also benefitted from having one of the best coaches in the history of the game calling the shots. Brady was terrific for almost his entire career, but he also had a pretty well-regarded coach in his corner and usually benefitted from having solid defenses and position players around him. Your idea that these guys were somehow all supermen who were singlehandedly responsible for all of their success is just delusional.

He has the most impressive TD spikes so far this season

Post #28879...and I quote...aaagain:

"That should tell you a lot about what BB thought of his QB in that situation. He's not the only one responsible, but when you can replace a guy like Drew Bledsoe, who was a very good QB, and turn around that franchise like that?"

This is so dumb, you dont need to make almost a million/yr to rent an apartment in the bay area

At this point he's only guaranteed the $4M(ish) on his rookie contract. So he's probably living as if that's ALL he'll ever make. Smart man. He could have a career ending injury any game and that would be it, no big contract. So no, he doesn't "make almost a million a year." Why I keep saying the organization needs to hook this kid up somehow. They owe him huge. Kyle and John should be paying for everything for him, because he saved their careers.

Furlow, John and Kyle can't be paying for jack. That would be a salary cap violation. We would forfeit draft picks.

Sincerely, Paraag
