Yea, I'm not. As I argued all offseason there was ample evidence to suggest the team couldn't carry Trey and still win and zero evidence that they could. QB isn't plug and play. Jimmy is an average starter in the league and Trey isn't close to that. There is absolutely zero actual evidence to make an argument that an offense wouldn't be affected negatively by playing a considerably worse player at the most important position. We saw it. Some just aren't capable of recognizing it. Weren't you among those predicting a slow start again this year? Pretty sure you were. Slow starts happen for a reason… it's not simply a matter of our team DNA, lol.

Some folks enamored with potential vs actual. That's how I see it.

Let's trade a first to the cowboys and bring back Trey. He may become a franchise qb one day. He can throw hard and run slightly faster than a FB. On this team, with these weapons, we can be undefeated.

49ers had a top 10 offense with Jimmy I would assume if he wasn't executing plays that wouldn't be the case.

I'm talking about the slow starts because I remember your previous arguments and it goes hand in hand with how badly you misunderstand what kind of team the 49ers are and have been, and with how you think an average starting QB is effectively interchangeable with a guy who is probably going to be out of the league in the next couple of years. It's utter nonsense on so many levels, lol. You clearly don't recognize why we had the slow starts. And on a side note I'm pretty certain I could dig up your posts and find arguments for slow starts outside of being concerned about Brock's injury.

Again this argument we're having boils down to whether any NFL team would be better with Jimmy at QB than Trey. You may not want either ideally but they are not the same quality of player currently. It's not close.

I though posters got this all out of there system in the off-season before Kyle and the rest of the league slapped them with reality.

You got all of that out of one comment pushing back on the idea that we were some massively improved team with Jimmy at the start of last year vs. with Trey, eh? I don't care about Jimmy vs. Trey enough to debate about which loser will still be in the league in a few years. We're 4-0 with Purdy and he's playing well. I said the team was better with Jimmy at QB than Trey. Which was absolutely f**king obvious to almost everyone (not you apparently). The idea behind playing Trey was that he would hopefully improve over time.

I actually wrote about how likeable Trey was in the post you responded to, lol. You're not very good at this my man.
