So Kyle doesn't get credit because the players are too good and the players don't get credit because Kyle is too good. Lmao the NFL is on notice!

by that logic Mahommes should never be MVP either. master play caller + weapons.
Heyman was right.

I actually don't see a system that Purdy wouldn't flourish in, provided it isn't a flawed system barren of surrounding talent. Throwing accurately with anticipation, reading defenses pre- and post-snap, making off-schedule plays, great agility and pocket awareness. I mean these are core to every successful QB. So why wouldn't Purdy do well elsewhere?

He would be great anywhere. It's a lot of him.

These dudes are quick to forgot how Jimmy G was doing in the same system with the same guys. Again, WITH CMC, Jimmy was scoring like 8 points less per game than Brock is (I can't remember the number but it's a big jump). That clearly means the QB is doing something. And what that something is, it seems, is finding the open guy consistently and executing the system better.

Jimmy was completing 71% of his passes with 9 TDs and 1 INT for a 110 QB rating after CMC joined the team.

No one said Jimmy sucked. But you're blind as a bat if you're not seeing that Purdy is playing on a whole other level.

they should do QB of the year separate from NFL MVP, QB is not apples to apples with non QBs
I think CMC would be the non QB MVP
Stud. Best qb in the nfc. We stuck gold.

Personally, what I think held Steve YOung back from multiple super bowls, was that he never had Bosa. Add in Seifert who couldn't draft well - and Steve would had multiple super bowls but for his head coach.

Purdy has a lot of things going for him. Great HC/GM - I mean they found Ronnie Bell, Jauan and Mason. Purdy has Bosa, and now he's going to have the 2nd coming of the fearsom foursom - Bosa, Hargrave, Armstead and Gregory. Holy cow!

Seifert had jack crap to do with the drafting. Once Walsh left, Policy more or less seized control of the front office and had final say over everything. The crappy drafting continued even after Seifert was gone.

Young did have a Bosa. They traded away Charles Haley

The bigger issue was the lack of depth in some key areas and then the near complete lack of run game after Ricky Watters left.

we'll see if he's within 10 of Tannehill now

One hilarious thing he tweeted last night though:

I was just smiling from ear to ear again this morning when the whole country got to see "Brees Montana" Purdy carved out that Dallas D last night. I was so pissed when a penalty called on Burford after he just threw that nice pass. Next play, that fantastic throw to Deebo and I just lose my s**t with that one. Even the Dallas players were shell shocked watching on the sidelines and how this special kid carved out their defense. Then I started reflecting what has happened to our beloved team since after Young retired when we started looking for the "Next one". Time will tell but damn.. this one feels great.

Seifert imo wasn't an elite HC, there is a reason he went to CAR and bombed
Holmgren and M Shanny were better coaches than Siefert,

9ers were on defense.
I was almost feeling the need to pinch myself last night to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing watching this kid... I had similar feelings in 1981.
