Holmgren and M Shanny were better coaches than Siefert,

Purdy with 4th best odds to win the MVP this season (Caesars). That's where the real money is, not just talking heads on TV or online.
Given that he hasn't played a full season yet, that's good recognition.

Paul did some weird things backstage when he was the boss of ECW but he is one of the best promos ever.
There's also the segment in a Smackdown at Phily before the NFCCG where he trashed the Eagles.
The Tribal Chief as a 49ers fan was more than happy with his wise man.^^
Brock has some of the same traits as Montana. Like Joe he isn't big and doesn't have a super strong arm. Also like Joe, he sees the whole field and processes really quickly. He's not afraid to throw into tight windows. He's not afraid to pass up a sure fire short throw if he sees the possibility for a bigger play downfield. Brock would have fit well in Walsh's offense. He's more like Joe than Steve who was a great athlete as well as being smart. Sometimes the guys that aren't as gifted just try harder.
Dak has played our defense every year for the last three seasons and hasn't played well in any of the games, last nights game being his worst.

Brock's worst game was against Dallas last year in the playoffs, he didn't have a bad game but you could see he was having a hard time.

The difference between the two QBs is that Brock learned and grew from his experience of playing them, got much better. Dak hasn't shown anything and I think that speaks volumes about how Brock processes the game and his temperament. It's incredible and I'm so glad he's on our team.
Does anyone know where to find that Brock Purdy superman graphic that was posted in the past week or so?

I wanna send it to a Seahawk fan buddy.

One hilarious thing he tweeted last night though:

He should unite with Rich Madrid and G Cohn so we could contain all the crap takes in 1 place
True, but Cohn just said Purdy is making him look like a fool.

This is also funny because at about 2:50 in Grant (a Jew) accidentally throws up a sieg heil when speaking about how much more mature 23 year old Brock is than 35 year old Cohn.

9ers were on defense.

Nah this was tweeted after the blowout was on and they put Darnold in.

Good point. I think DAL is the first opponent that Brock has played twice. So there is familiarity in gameplanning, adjustments were made on both sides, and we saw what happened last night.

That was the only way to keep us from running up the score LOL
He should win that Air Player of the Week award.

I think the Seahawks or cards were the first one. He played the Seahawks in seattle and then in the playoffs again, but this is the first time he was able to play a team after the off season to study and grow.

He did play the Seahawks twice last year. He's played the Cards twice as well, once in each season.

Ah right the Seahawks (TNF then playoffs). ARI has a new coaching staff this season so there isn't much carryover. But to your point, Brock "struggled" against DAL in the playoffs, then came out last night and showed he learned a few things.

Personally, what I think held Steve YOung back from multiple super bowls, was that he never had Bosa. Add in Seifert who couldn't draft well - and Steve would had multiple super bowls but for his head coach.

Purdy has a lot of things going for him. Great HC/GM - I mean they found Ronnie Bell, Jauan and Mason. Purdy has Bosa, and now he's going to have the 2nd coming of the fearsom foursom - Bosa, Hargrave, Armstead and Gregory. Holy cow!

Seifert had jack crap to do with the drafting. Once Walsh left, Policy more or less seized control of the front office and had final say over everything. The crappy drafting continued even after Seifert was gone.

Siefert wasn't a top notch coach either. He went to Carolina and bombed, as another webzoner pointed out. Quite a handicap for Steve. Point is, Steve should have (in my opinion) as many Superbowls as Joe did, but for crappy coaching and front office.

Purdy has none of those handicaps, and so his future is blindingly bright!
