Brock's anticipation throws are crazy good and accurate. Watching some vids on those throws are making me have wood.

How does Brock Purdy stack up against the other 5 QB's with the best odds to win MVP.

to be frank its going to be tough for him to win it. Tua, Allen, and Mahomes completely can take over games with their arm and we wont need to with our D
but that being said if we somehow go undefeated (*knock on wood*) which i don't see happening then yes it will happen

Okay? But my post was about how he stacks up. Obviously there is still a long season left and anything can happen. However, so far he leads in every single important QB category imo.

I know it doesn't matter since it happened, but im curious how tuas stats look without the 70 point game that was just a complete joke. Lol
i like tua but he's way overrated. All you need to do is be physical with him and that team and they collapse. Look at the bills game - he was hot in the beginning but then was worthless as the game went on.

I have noticed that as well. Tua is a good QB but his performance really drops when he faces top defenses.

But Trey showed he wasn't ready by how he responded to losing the competition. He didn't have the mettle to stick with it, and instead requested an excuse from practice followed by a trade request.
Yeah, idk if I fault him for it - that's a tough situation to deal with and was probably embarrassed but then I look at what Jimmy went through and how he handled it, Trey should of probably relaxed a little but I don't fault him.
i just thought the best thing for him to do was stay here this year because it was right before the season starts and it's so hard to learn a new offense on the fly with no reps/camp.
imagine spending years learning kyles offense and then you go to Dallas and they're running some bunk ass Texas Coast offense lmaooo he's probably like "is this the 1970s? These have no creativity"

Just look at who the dolphins have played… they're frauds like the cowboys.
Chargers (horrible defense), pats (awful team), Broncos (my goodness awful), Giants (*puke*), Bulls (got spanked).
at least we've played top defenses in the cowboys and Steelers. Cards have a top 10 offense so far. Rams aren't a pushover but nothing great.
tua will crumble as the season goes on and his stats will fall off, IMO.

His anticipation throws are elite
JohnnyDel has made some great videos highlighting when the throw is made and when the reveiver breaks...absolutely nuts to see
That combined with his great pre/post snap processing has Purdy looking like peak Drew Brees in year 2
Just stay healthy amd sky is the limit

All right then, let's do that. We came close in 1984, only losing 1 game, to Pittsburgh. So tired of hearing about the '72 Dolphins.
I think we've got a shot.

he does seem to resemble a bit of Tom Brady in that way with his anticipation, accuracy, and a knack of knowing where defenders are and the throwing window/lane
and before people freak out remember Tom Brady early in his career wasn't a superstar he threw more TD in his 40s than he did in his 20s

Other film guys are starting to highlight these things as well. JTO put out a video of the DAL game and he demonstrates Brock's ability to anticipate as well. He calls it elite. He asks his viewers to name 10 other QB's that throw with that kind of anticipation. I believe Chase Daniel brings it up in his film breakdown as well.

Orlovsky is a complete and utter tool, Mac Jones wouldn't do the same here that Brock is doing, Mac is horrid IMO, don't get how anyone can say any QB can do what Brock does in our system when Jimmy & Trey failed badly.

This feels surreal. People are talking MVP at this point. I haven't felt this way about this team in a long, long time.
