Oh yeah, he's becoming a tier 1 QB, and he was the 262nd and last pick in the 2022 draft, what a steal, kudos to Brian Griese for doing the work, and recommending him to Kyle.

It's unfathomable, really. But so glad it happened to us!

When people say stuff like that, it just shows how much they don't understand about the qb position. You can't look at QB the same way you look at other positions, which is why I think a lot of people think athleticism helps determine potential for a qb.
playing QB is so difficult and different than any other position, you can't just plug and play. Otherwise this offense would of been insane with jimmy and better with Trey. It's a joke, IMO.
other QBs would probably do well here but doesn't mean they'd be doing historic stuff like Brock is doing.

The thing is, Mac wasn't good enough to start at Alabama except for what, one year?
And I get that it's Alabama and he had to wait his turn and I get that Brock visited but wasn't heavily recruited by Alabama, went to Iowa State. But Brock had a bunch of starts in college and learned and developed. Mac was a limited skill QB playing essentially one year at Bama throwing to the Heisman Trophy winner and being part of maybe one of the best offenses in history at the college level. They just destroyed a good Ohio State team. And again, Mac did his part but what you are seeing is a limited skill guy who is regressing in an admittedly bad situation in New England but who can't even provide much of anything in the way of positives. It isn't like say, Fields in Chicago where you're frustrated and say maybe he's a bust but you look at the situation and you want to have patience and you see flashes of greatness and say something is there. It's a guy who keeps getting benched for something called Bailey Zappe.

Yup, Mac Jones sucks.
And let me be clear on this:
I still much rather the three first rounders for Lance over Mac at 12 or wherever we were originally slotted, Purdy or no Purdy.
Jones is GARBAGE.

535 yards
5 passing touchdowns
1 rushing touchdown
153.2 QB rating - almost perfect.
i love our QB. Can't wait for him to go into contract negotiations as B2B Super bowl champs 😍😈
I can't wait for ShanaLynch to draft two (maybe three) elite Offensive linemen to protect Purdy for the next decade.
Yeah, I'd like to see us draft a tackle in the first two rounds to develop next year, if the right one is available. Maybe use him as a swing tackle for his rookie year (or right tackle if he's better than mckivitz).
the team has actually done an excellent job drafting and developing o line - Mckivitz, burford, banks, Zakelj (hasn't really played yet). Signing a journey man in our center and getting him playing well. It's impressive but I'd like us to get better talent at center and tackle. We have two good young guards but need depth. Maybe some of the guys on the practice squad will pan out.
So far McKivitz, Burford, and Banks have all developed nicely so far. It really is impressive to have gotten Jake Brendel as a starter at center, that saves you basically a 2nd or 3rd round pick for his value. Ilm Manning looks good, and I hope he develops as a center. Zakelj also has good measurables for a center and guard. But what I'd like is some elite talent. Something like a Trent Williams level offensive tackle playing at McKivitz spot. If they can find it at the 1st round or 3rd round, I don't care, but we have to get that kind of talent into the Offensive Lineup. Maybe McKivitz turns into that elite OT, we shall see. But for Brock's long term career health, offensive line depth and level of talent would be a numero uno priority for me in the next draft.
offensive linemen drafted in round 3 became full-time starters at a rate of over 51%, which is far and away the largest percentage of any position group in any of the 5 lower rounds. If you learned anything from me over these past 4 columns, it's that in the draft, coin flip odds are pretty good. In fact, offensive line is the leading position group overall (23.9%) and in every round except round 6. For whatever reason, on a percentage basis, it is clearly easier to find starting offensive linemen than any other position group..

I BELIEVE I have posted that last year when I called him E !!
E for Eric the Pizza Boy !!
lol
Nobody knows who the hell that actor is. What's he from?
Most famous for Entourage (Kevin Connolly), and was in Unhappily Ever After before that.
His first acting credit was that bully kid who eventually got beat up by Rocky's son in Rocky V.
