pretty realistic to think he may even become SBMVP
let's have some good prax first
Let's make sure we take a good piss and not get any splatter on the toilet seat first.

The same people talking s**t about Brock because of the weapons around him forget that Mac Jones came from Alabama, and I promise you half of his high esteem among talking heads is because of his draft stock (which was, again, affected by the talent around him at Alabama).

Back when we had to decide between Joe or Steve, it had crossed my mind wishing we have a guy that has qualities of both guys. It looks like we finally have one in Brock. The calm processing and vision of Joe with the mobility of Steve, mixed in the moxie of Garcia. Altogether we have a guy that can make the right decisions most of the time every game, maximizing Kyle's offense.
Agree 💯%, and I just have to comment on Brock's arm strength. Those three deep throws were on target and were on flat trajectories. I really think folks are underrating Brock's arm strength. He's not even (in my opinion) using 💯% of his arm to get it to (for example) the Aiyuk and Jauan passes. To me, it felt like he was using about 75% and the touch, timing and anticipation did the rest. When throwing those deep passes, he's not taking a pitcher's heave and taking a running start like a javelin throw. He's just easily throwing it with a good solid base and a nice arm throwing motion, and nothing is being stressed to the limit, in my opinion.
One other QB that hasn't thrown interceptions yet this year is CJ Stroud. Guess who is his offensive coordinator? Bobby Slowik, Purdy's old passing coach.
People saying stuff like Mac Jones being able to do the same things as Purdy in the Niners offense are looking at physical attributes and not the whole package. It's the same reason so may are reluctant to see Purdy as a top QB
If you just look at the physical stuff maybe he's in the lower half of the league. The thing is, QB is about more than being able to run a 4.4 forty or throwing the ball 60 yards in the air. Brocks ability to process what he sees after the snap is as good or better than anyone in the league. He's very smart and has been able to learn and understand NFL defenses really quickly. Some of the physically gifted guys never do.

My check on arm strength is when the guy goes on the run and makes the throw, if it gets there timely further downfield, he's all good.
Brock Purdy can throw from any platform, any arm slot and drop dimes while on the move

They could. Its not that outlandish. Detroit is kind of scary because they have a pretty well balanced roster, they're well coached and they play hard. Other than the Iggles, the Lions are the NFC team that scares me most.

I never even heard of this Ruiz guy until his awful take and I hope I never hear of him again. Lol he honestly is probably just saying this outlandish stuff because he knows it'll give him more publicity
genuinely interested in the results here:
