For Brock, it was this play where I thought he might be special:

Same thing: unshakable poise and killer instinct. The Assassin.

I still remember watching him that game and I kept saying to myself out loud "what in the world is going on? This guys poise is incredible"

then I was like "let's see how he does next drive" and I just kept sitting there like stunned. Lol I've been brockhard ever since. Lol kids amazing and I've accepted he's a great qb.

we got lucky and got one of the next greats. Strap in boys, it's going to be a great 15 year run!
i say stop with these SB or 15 year type posts

just enjoy the week by weeks, time will do the rest

If BP is the next big thing he will need his adversary.

Brady had his P Manning, and when Manning retired, it was Brady v Mahomes.

we may be entering the Purdy / Hurts era

You haven't heard of Patrick Mahomes? I think Hurts hit his ceiling last year. Numbers are way down this year and I don't see him as a long term great QB. Just my opinion.

I mentioned him in my post, hard to be adversaries with a guy you see once every 4 seasons, Hurts is a more realistic one for me, do we remember the NFCCG?

We will see it in December. I hope both teams are healthy.
Posting last years games highlights. Get out of here with that. Brock_STAR has improved by leaps and bounds since then. He plays like Montana now. Night and day.

Agreed. The eagles tried to make him a dropback passer to start the season. The game against the patriots, he was not seeing the field well and was holding onto the ball too long. The MIN game he again was holding onto the ball too long and throwing into double coverage. They have decided to lean heavily on Swift and that run game ever since. The LAR game, Hurts was back to being the eagles part time running back. Honestly, there is no difference between Fields and Hurts. You put Fields on the eagles and vice versa and they are the same exact teams.

He looks like the nice clean cut boy next door you don't mind your daughter dating, but will rip your heart out on the football field when the game starts.😎

it's true when he steps in between those lines, dude is a maniac

I love how he is always looking for the kill shot.

Lol, Brock was a stud last year too. He never has not played like a top 5 QB.

Ya i hate to be a bit stereotypical but hurts is not a pocket passer he does have his moments where he makes great throws but he doesn't seem to be able to do that consistently throughout a game

I was watching the all 22 film on the first TD throw to kittle in the cowboys game. It was funny cause you could see Brock down at the bottom of the scream doing that exact celebration - it just looked funny. All calm and then that. Lol

that actually might be what I'm talking about. Lol

He was already good and now he is incredible.

I mean, he's playing even better this year, but dude was incredible last year too. He had the 2nd highest passer rating in the league. I mean, I was a believer then, just needed to see it continue after the injury. The fact he's improved upon what was already incredible, is unprecedented. We're living through NFL history.

You can see his mental side of the games growth a lot when you compare it to last year. It's very impressive considering he was rehabbing until camp, but it's clear he studied a lot.

assuming he finishes the year healthy, I'm curious to see what he does this next off season to continue improving leading up to camp. Like if he would of spent more time with a private coach. At least he made the most of this off season.

Can't wait for Purdy to backhand these fools again on thanksgiving, in their house, for the whole nation to see.

Time for Purdy to eat some Turkey in the middle of the Seattle field after the game.

Brock has too much class for that. Kittle might do it though, to honor the rivalry.

Seattle fans act all smug and high and mighty but they are just as delusional and low iq as dallas fans.

being a smug hipster doesn't make you better than us seattle

Most of them are the 2012th Man.

Agreed....

That pass was a what the heck moment for me too.

This is the guy they said had no arm? This is a rookie? That pass had NFL level heat on it.
Purdy has displayed remarkable accuracy along the way, completing 70.4 percent of his passes during the 10 starts. In the history of the league, only Chad Pennington has eclipsed that mark (70.8) through a quarterback's first 10 starts.

Purdy's passer rating of 121.1 through his initial 10 starts is historically good, ranking as the highest-ever passer rating by a quarterback in their first 10 starts. In addition, the only quarterback who has won more consecutive games to start a career is Ben Roethlisberger, with 15.
