I'm just glad we now have a QB who knows the playbook, since 2019 i said we should be beating these teams easily. we are getting there

I've never seen kyle so relaxed and happy. He looks like he's really enjoying coaching now. He obviously always loved it but he seemed so stressed and pissed off all the time - I think we all knew it was because he knew the offense should be better.

the fact he's saying that Brock is executing almost all the plays right is wild.

i wonder if this year we will exceed points he achieved in Atlanta.
Kyle is def loving it, i'm loving it.

also, it seems like Brock or the team is breaking some type of record. s**t is just unreal right now

This was my favorite play of the game. 3rd and 14 after a penalty killed a 40 yard 3rd down gain and he delivers a throw so perfectly in stride with a streaking Deebo with such great anticipation. It was game over after that.

It's still early in the season and anything can happen but this team has the potential to do a lot of special tbjngs, especially if our defense keeps being dominant. Last game our starters only played like 30 defensive snaps. That's huge for health and longevity.

this team ia so talented and deep that we don't really have to overuse guys, specifically on defense, and that Is awesome.

as long as we stay healthy and disciplined, it's going to be an amazing season. Our guys just seem to have a different level of confidence now that out offense is playing as well, if not better, than our defense. It's nuts how good this team is.

i was reading other forums and it's hilarious how many other fans were scared of us and calling us a machine.

Yeah, Brock didn't even flinch. Reminds me of when mahommes is playing and it's a long third down… they have a 50% conversion rate on those since 2018. Lol

usually on long third downs, that's a wrap, but not anymore! Our boys are confident and bangin out there

Orlovsky was praising Brock on first take for his performance. Did a complete 180 from his dumbass Mac jones comments. Must have read the backlash lol

Mina Kimes, on the other hand, has been awfully quiet lately regarding Purdy. She usually tweets during prime time games, but had nothing to say this Sunday night. She shares Orlovskys opinion that he's just a product of Kyles system. Probably waiting for Purdy to have a bad game so she say, "aha! see it's all Kyle"

Yea… I think there is one or two on the webzone waiting to do that also. One was very vocal constantly & I think he initially hung back waiting for Brock to screw up, but now, since he hasn't screwed up thru five games, he's just gonna stay hidden in the corner. Lol

That was the dagger that killed any hope Dallas had.

Dad bod.

Someone...here...called him a mobile Nick Mullens.

But in all seriousness, the narrative should flip entirely. There shouldnt really be talk about last pick, Mr Irrelevant...no feelgood story about a plucky tryhard beating the odds to find success in the NFL.

The story, IMO, is how an entire 150 BILLION dollar industry filled with analytic data and untold thousands of years of collective experience overlooked such prodigious talent repeatedly.

I think Steve Smith got it right. People are scared to be wrong.

So scared they'll all line up behind Zach Wilsons and Trey Lances because they see measurables but can't see when someone is truly made for the position.

Yeah I think what more people should be asking is "how did everyone miss him in the evaluation?"

I personally think too many people try to evaluate QBs the same way you evaluate all the other positions - rely way too much on physical measurable and think they're relevant. QB is the one position where physical tools don't determine your potential, like it does for WR/CB/OL/DL etc.

as long as the QBs measurable date good enough, because there is a baseline it needs to meet, then it's really all about what's between their ears and work ethic. How do they process the game, spacial awareness, leadership, work ethic, etc.

if they have all of the things mentioned above AND great physical tools, great. If they have average physical tools and all the right things mentioned above, that's great too.

but I don't think you can take someone with just
the physical tools and teach them the rest. Which is why so many people fail at drafting QBs. They try to take athletes and make them cerebral quarterbacks. A qb with great physical tools is just an immaterial bonus. Look at so many of the greats - they weren't Josh allen. They're closer to Brock Purdy.
