QB Brock Purdy Thread

I'd put brock and Herbert ahead of Tua. I also wouldn't put Stroud into the top 10. He's played well for a rookie but hasn't been anything amazing. He's done a good job of not throwing a pic but I think that has more to do with conservative play calling.

god that first throw to Aiyuk was just a beauty - perfectly laid there in there. Doesn't get any better than that. The one to Deebo was impressive because of the anticipation and all that. The first throw was just ridiculously beautiful though - he has such amazing accuracy.

Everytime I see him do something like that, I think back to when Saban said his accuracy was average. lol brock knew right then and there - he didn't watch his film.

Brock in the top 5, to me that's all good. It's some of the other guys shaking up on past reputation, not necessarily their level of play this year.

it's dif playcallers, with dif weapons, with dif blocking, with dif schedule, you name it
lot of variables in play, and it's a lil silly to say and it shifts every week, based on what, guys got better at throwing the ball from this week to last?

it's about how well are you doing your job, BP is acing the test, who cares what Allen or Tua are doing, they ain't any better, throw on some Allen vs NYJ or Tua vs BUF see for yourself

I've never heard of this dipsh!t Ruiz and I'll never look him up. He's just saying it to get fans all worked up and spread his name. I refuse to give it to him.

I've never taken those kind of rankings too serious, I just go with how I feel when I evaluate guys. I just think it's cool with people give certain guys their due respect.

hahah the guys they were talking bad about became government informants and entered the witness protection program. I'm not anti gov informants but it is crazy some of the guys they let into it and use as witnesses. Sometimes they're worse than the guy they're trying to arrest or let guys off the hook way too lightly. anyways, that's a different convo but thats a new fun channel and I get a kick out of it. They're growing super fast.

They're degenerate gamblers but it's entertaining to me. I thought it was cool that even philly fans are coming around and saying "he's better than I thought". brock changed a lot of peoples mind because they actually watched him play against dallas, since it was a national game.

That was my favorite throw of the night. That was a tight window throw outside the numbers. Hit Aiyuk perfectly in stride for a huge gain after the catch. I didn't like that holding call but it is what it is. Brock said F U, I'm getting this first down.

I don't think the average fan realizes how difficult that throw is, the layering and timing required. He makes it look so easy and like an everyday throw but it's not at all. Aiyuk didn't have to do anytbjng but let it hit him. Lol

hes had quite a few of those throws were he fits it right above the safety and linebackers hand. Those are very difficult - he has the intermediate throw accuracy record for a reason - it just incredible
