Lol I do gush over players, isn't that partly why we are here? Lol. I wouldn't approach them if I saw them locally or whatnot is what we were talkin about lol..and I am a doe not a bro:)
lol.. thats just hilarious

I gush over players. Lol idgaf. We have some great players and it's a privilege to have the team we have, im enjoying it to the fullest.

this may be the best QB we've had since the 90s, you bet your sweet bottom ̶d̶o̶l̶l̶a̶r̶ that im gushing over, I've been waiting literally my entire life for it. Lol and damn does it feel good to finally have an elite QB (so far).

Tankle gets it lol

Young was quite a while ago, while awesome to experience..it's great to be excited again:)

It's good times!

The way I view it… we've experienced two major harsh realities about the NFL the last twenty+ years.

1) your team getting elite QB play is extremely difficult. It's not only hard to find, but it requires dumb luck too. Kyle is considered an offensive genius and it took him a flier at pick 262 to luck into it . It's so hard to find and doesn't really matter how smart/talented a coach/GM is - requires a lot of luck.

2) it can be over and/or taken from you in the blink of an eye. Just like it all was in the NFCC game last year. We can assume that Brock will do this for the next 15 years, and I sure hope he does for 25 years, but we really don't know.

We are only guaranteed the moment so why not enjoy it as much as you can. Everything in life is a balance but finding what we have at QB sometimes can take a lifetime, if ever. Look at the bears. It's been 20+ years before we found it again - for a lot of us, that's 2/3 of our life. Lol

youre effin right some of us are gushin! This has been a crazy fun and exciting 10-12 game streak where we've seen historic things, just enjoy it. It will come to an end and we don't know how or when but I'm the type to just soak it in.

And so what if he is playing in a "system" or whatever you want to call it. He is winning games. Isn't that what he is supposed to be doing? I see Purdy running through this league to a SB win. WHO'S GONNA STOP THE SYSTEM!?!?!?

Elite status is earned,...not given. We don't call ANY QB elite this early. Not much here.

Yo random. If you check my post, you will see I never mentioned "elite". I, for one, have seen elite. You know like Montana, Marino, etc. Now, I DO believe Brock is on his way. But I'm just being optimistic about what I see
What's great about Brock is he wants the big play, he's aggressive for the big play, and you can see it in the timing of the play," Shanahan told Papa. "So, he's not going to force anything, but when it's there and our play's going there, he doesn't hesitate. It goes there every time the coverage gives him that. And if they're back at all, taking that away, he doesn't hesitate to the second level and … he doesn't hesitate at the bottom level."

As far as I know, Shanny had never talked about his qb as such...Kyle found his Maximus
I have mentioned this a few times haha but think I have watched this play..tbh..10x? Lol..this was the play. The play where my jaw literally dropped, time kinda stopped it was so good lol and said to myself..this guy can very much help get us a ring. The Tampa game was a stunner..but when I saw this old skool, Bill Walsh play and the guy makes it look like another day at the park..with a rib injury iirc..damn right I was thinking this could very well be the guy to help get us to the Six. I mean..I remember exactly where I was when this happened..with my mouth wide open lol.

The last pick in the draft? Lol

For comparison...

We ran that play in 1994 against the Lions.

The play itself is the real genius, but it does take the whole team executing to pull off.

IMHO though, the second touchdown to Kittle in that game was more impressive, because it wasn't a predetermined read like that one, and required Brock to notice the coverage was blown. Because McCaffrey was open on the little swing screen, but Brock chose the corner because the defense blew their coverage. 10/10 times Jimmy would have thrown to McCaffrey.
Is it just me, or Steve halfassing in the clip. Brock a better salesman

I had to go back and rewatch the TD..it was the 3rd TD of the game and you're right, blown coverage and finds his man, Kittle. Impressive, and yeah I can see Jimmy going to CMC with that

The hilarious part to me is not you being a fan of player, it's you fanboying on the net, but pretending you're not a fanboy if you crossed paths with that player you gush over.

just be yourself, no need to hide your fandom in person

I mean we have a damn good QB, nothing more to it. Three cheers for Brock!

More appreciation for Brock's processing speed, liquid cool chipset.

Nah, if Brocky brings home another Lombardi before then I think they reward him handsomely like they did with Bosa

Lol not sure why you keep on with this haha. I am very much myself. I don't pretend to not be a fan. Here is the thing...I love the Golden Knights..and yeah, when Marchy is on the ice, making goals, assists and whatnot hell ya..I am yelling out "Marchy" and fanning all out. And also at the parade. But say..like if I am at the Sinatra having dinner and if I were to see Marchy there..yeah, that is cool or whatnot but no..I would not go into fandom mode. Meaning..I would not freak out, wave, or draw attention..defo not bothering the dude in anyway. It's another person having dinner. At that moment, he is another local doing local person stuff lol. It is not hiding that I am fan..it is just common sense respect kinda stuff. Lol. I am not sure what else there is to explain and it's not worth my time. Haha

He's getting a TON of great press clippings from the national media. I hope (and I know he will) stay steady and just keep working on his game and his craft and not listen and buy his own press clippings. The whole (in my opinion) national media is giving him a ton of praise. Any other guy, it will go to his head, but Purdy, I think is well grounded to ignore all that praise.

Exactly right. That's when I knew he was an upgrade.
