Man, Iowa State was a winning team ever year Brock was there. Year after he leaves, they go 4-8 (1-8 in their conference).
Dude is a difference maker.
Of course he is. I agree.
The system QB take is so lame. Jimmy was a solid quarterback, but with the same weapons, Brock has outperformed him since his first extended playing time when he was a rookie.
Jimmy's ball placement and processing/decision making are not on Purdy's level.

He consistently throws into windows inches wide and 20+ yards downfield! GAME in and GAME out. EVERY game! Unbelievable! That's one of the reasons I say he's a generational talent. The closest player I can compare him to is Stephen Curry with his three point shots. Curry has just UNREAL accuracy with those three pointers, and Brock is just *Unreal* with his pinpoint accuracy and timing with his receivers! Protect this man with *TWO* elite offensive tackles (a right and a left) or I will personally picket 4949 DeBartolo way until ShanaLynch gets those players!!!
The kid was born with it though..remember a while back when ppl were posting this?
This one has a super cheesy song to it..wth is that song about? Haha

I will admit, at first I was nervous about Brock, the first few games, I was on the edge of my seat thinking we're done, now I don't worry about him making a bad throw, or mistake, I mean he's gonna throw a pick or 2 this year, can't be perfect 100%, but he damn near perfect this season, highest rated QB in the NFL, Jimmy was never that if I remember right, Jimmy was good, but Brock is great, elite in my eyes. But let them doubt Brock & this team, still all week it's not been about 49ers winning, but why Cowboys lost, and Eagles still top team in the NFC, so sick of the media nationally.

The longer he plays in Vegas the better Kyle looks. I was watching that last game and even the commentators mentioned his once per game interception. Dude leads the league in picks, but at least guys like Favre and Allen would give you wow plays to go along with theirs. SOOOO grateful for Purdy.

Fun fact - the four years that Brock was there, they had a winning record each year, that was the first time in nearly 100 years that Iowa state had done that.

Jimmy leads the league and he's missed a game. Lmao horrible. I've watched all of jimmy's games in Vegas and it's changed my perception of him. It's made me realize that I was wrong in regards to how good he was, the system made him play at a higher level because it was protecting him. I think that's why Kyle didn't have certain plays and was more conservative with jimmy, didn't trust him and was protecting Jimmy from the mistakes he makes.
I've always liked jimmy and think he was a solid QB for us but Brock's really opened my eyes to how much Jimmy was holding this offense back and jimmys performance in Vegas has opened my eyes to how great of a coaching job kyle was doing with him.
"He can throw it. I mean, he's very accurate," Shanahan said. "He knows when to throw it. He knows where to throw. I mean, it's not much different in practice as it is in the games, but you know, people talk about Brock's arm strength.
"Brock can make any throw on the field in the timing of the play. You know, he's not going to sit there and be really late and take a bunch of hitches, staring something down, and just throw to the opposite side, 70 yards. Not many people in the world are going to do that, but that's also usually a bad decision when you do that. What's great about Brock is he wants the big play. He's aggressive for the big play and he can see it in the timing of the play, so he's not going to force anything. But when it's there and our play is going there, he doesn't hesitate. It goes there every time the coverage gives him that.
And if they're back at all taking that away, he doesn't hesitate to the second level and he doesn't hesitate to the bottom. So Brock is fun to call plays for because you can get aggressive and you know he'll take it if it shows because that's what you work on and you talk all week, but you're also not scared to call it because if it doesn't show, he's not, usually not, going to force it. He's going to see right away what you've been talking about, know that's not the look, and get the ball to someone underneath. And when we get balls to people underneath, we usually make some big plays, too, because we got some talented guys who can run with it."
