The first time BCB got ED lol
Very Systematic Play by him today.
I wasn't expecting that type of performance from Brock.

Was it even raining hard?

Rain was mostly a non-factor in this game. I don't think it even rained much at all in the second half.
He was definitely off. Surprised he didn't get a glove when he was struggling with the wet ball.

The Niners didn't deserve to win that game. They were outplayed nearly all day other than the first drive. I wonder why they didn't throw to Kittle. Maybe he was being covered. Aiyuk was pretty much the only target once CMC went out.

Kittle was probably chip blocking to help out pass protection, and run blocking. CMC and Deebo are the heart of the Kyle Shanahan offense, take them out and your playbook is reduced by probably 50+% Timing and synchronicity is key to this quick game offense. tough to do that with 2nd string players playing in place of the first string. Just hope the 49er injuries aren't serious.

Seems like they could have brought in an extra TE to allow Kittle to get some touches. When your offense is struggling like they did today and 2 of your top weapons are out you have to adjust.

Not great if a misting is enough to make Brock look below average.

Time to build a dome in Santa Clara.

yeah, any given sunday, it's so true. Still, really happy that Brock moved the offense in the last minutes against a tough defense to be able to score a game winning field goal. Folks will look at him as a teir 2 QB - but that drive against that defense was a game winner but for Moody missing the field goal.

Purdy may have to carry us more than I thought if we make the playoffs and Moody is still our kicker.

Every coach wants a guy who can put the rest of the game behind him and move the team into position to win the game. Purdy did that.
We were outplayed and outcoached.

Tackling was sloppy.

They have a top flight defense and they showed it.

Brocks throws were reminiscent of JG's throws. Many were thrown behind the receivers instead of ahead of them.

It was just a matter of time before CMC got injured. Hope it isn't too serious.

Moody failed today! I hope this is a learning lesson and he gets better fast.

Nice contribution from Gregory.

Didnt Jed already veto that idea?

Yep. And beside that Aiyuk drop over the middle he probably had his best pass on that drive.

He had a bad game but it still didn't look panicked out there. Just missing a lot of throws he should make.

We were behind the sticks a lot it felt like.

He looked rattled as hell. Even on the last drive, his first throw was right to a defender who luckily dropped it.

His accuracy was off all game. We're talking about different things.

Eh that wasn't rattled. That was just inaccuracy. He was off all day. Missed all sorts of throws he normally makes.

Bounce back next week. Learn from it.
