But of course… nobody will talk about it because Moody was off by 6 inches

Absolutely. But he'd also tell you it should never have come down to that.

I think the team will be better for it later. The 3 dudes who started a fight pre game, 2 got injured and 1 was dropping huge passes. The whole freaking team just ate a whole humble pie they made for themselves.

this was the best game of his career so far because he was tested
Played like doo doo.

This ^ and SS can EAD

Agree 💯%
One loss, AFC team, no Greenlaw, CMC and Deebo hurt, it's ok.
Purdy was below avg, regardless of circumstances.

Onto next.

Yeah, my view isn't changed of Brock because of this. The o line got their ass handed to them - I'm curious to see the stats of how many times they were beat. Idk if I've ever seen an o Line beat that bad so often.

brock isn't innocent, he missed a lot of throws he usually hits, but he was under so much pressure. The wind was ridiculous, lost his two biggest weapons (the gameplan was clearly built around them too). It's a good learning experience - we weren't going to win every game.

im surprised we even came close to winning. Lol the refs really screwed us on the browns last drive - two horrific calls that gave them life. The NFL needs to do something about that. Those were just TERRIBLE calls at the end of a game. They shouldn't be doing that.

With all the gambling access, I really don't think there is anyway the refs aren't gambling. I'm curious the measures they take to stop it but doesn't mean they aren't placing bets through others. Too many degenerate gamblers out there.

I'm sure there's a few bad apples, but officiating has to be taken into account when beating teams. Walsh always said you beat the team and the refs. Meaning our team has to play as mistake free as possible with regards to penalties, and play a standard so high that even bad refs can't screw with the win.

Ditto
He needed Gould to close out, like how Gould always done for Jimmy.
If it's any consolation Jalen Hurts isn't looking very clutch today either.

Sometimes QBs and teams just have bad games like this

Doesn't say anything definitive about the team or the QB. Just gotta learn and move forward

He didn't play well but I'm not worried. He looked calm and collective on that final drive. Led the team down the field for what should have been a game winning come from behind field goal.
less INTs than hurts

Agreed. Shanahan did Brock no favors today and Kittle forgot to show up.

Kitlle was there, but Shanny could NOT come up w/a play for him to energize the offense..

Josh Allen had a multi interception game and they lost. Everyone has down games. Montana and Young lost games. They didn't win every game.
Takes like what people are saying are very unfair. He lost 2 of his best weapons. We were playing against one of the absolute best defenses in the league. With one of those 2 we probably win. Moody missed twice. Despite it all Purdy drove down the field and the last drive with little time remaining. Setting up the game winning FG. Which was sliced and missed. All you could ask is he put them in position despite missing 2 major weapons. He did and the kicker chocked. Not a great game but not completely fair to pile on Brock here IMO.
