Hopefully this loss humbles and refocuses him a bit. He was probably paying a bit too much attention to all of this MVP/Elite QB talk.

That was an easy ass kick to make, shoulda been a gimme
Oh, really. How many of them did you make in your kicking career? Since you state your case with so much certainty. I have to assume that you were probably an elite kicker in college and so, can speak from experience. No doubt you would have made the pros if it hadn't been for a poor Wonderlic score.

it was an easy kick for a pro nfl kicker, that "no you" mocking argument is dumb. I was there, while winds were swirling all game - they werent at the kick, he had near perfect conditions at the time. Watching him in warmups he was just off, shanking everything right, Kyle had way too much confidence in him - they should of ran one more play to try and get closer and risk the snap instead.

Okay, then by that standard, no NFL kicker should ever miss a 41-yard field goal. I wonder what the statistics have to say about that. Do you suppose if someone were willing to do the work that they would find that no NFL kicker in the history of the sport had ever missed a 41-yard kick except for Jake Moody. In an interview after the game Moody said the snap and hold were good, he just didn't hit it the way he wanted to. Jerry Rice dropped passes. Joe Montana threw interceptions. It happens, it's football. It was a tough game against a good defense and a gritty offense. The Niners missed some plays they have usually been making and had some calls go against them. It was one loss to a team that had nothing to lose and wasn't in our division or in our conference. The Eagles also lost. So did the Seahawks. Only the Rams won in our division and we've already beaten them. Quit being such a bunch of crybabies.

Good learning experience for Brock I think. He needs to be even more accurate throwing those 10-15 yarder to beat man coverage. He seemed just a tad hurried in his throws today. A little behind the receiver, a little to far in front. If he can calm himself a bit more before making the throw.

Even though Brock had an ugly game for the most part he did his job on the last drive and got the team into FG range for the possible win. He did what he was told to do has far has the plays to position the ball and not try to get any more yards. He did enough to win. It's a team loss. We move on to next week and hope for a better outcome.

Gould missed the same 41 yarder last year vs Vegas to win the game

I guess what made that one not has bad is the 49ers won the game. If Jake would have missed one in the game earlier that could have won it and made the last one I suppose it would not have been a big deal? But it does not matter now we got to move on to the next game. The 49ers were going to lose a game this year heck maybe two more who knows it's football.

what made it not bad, was that the game was tied and went to OT. Moody didn't get that chance to redeem himself like Gould

Oh yeah I know that's why it was overlooked. Just a bad day for Moody and the whole team.
