is the Darnold guy ?

Ya

I'm the Darnold guy and BrockIsFranchiseQB is not me. I would never tarnish Steve Young like that. He had a huge arm and one of the greatest 49er ever.

I do agree 100% with Steve Young's KNBR comments today on Purdy. It's almost like he's been rereading what I wrote about Brock on this board before the start of the season.

fyi: the mods have banned me and this account will also be banned in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1....

He 100 percent did not. The poster is correct there.

He was a great QB though… because having top tier arm strength is a luxury, not a necessity.

He threw 50 yard bombs to Rice, Taylor and Owens in tight window coverage but okay....

Young didn't have a great arm but it was good. Very similar to Cousins.

I think that's a pretty fair comparison honestly. I'd describe that as average though probably.

I feel like Cousins probably has a bit more range on his high/deep throws.

No comparison in terms of quality of QB'ing overall, obviously.

Sounds like he's not allowed to rollout/improvise.

English can be hard I guess
BP gonna have a bounce back game against the Vikings by throwing 4 touchdowns.
Steve Young talking about Brock needing to figure out at some point to take control and play well without having some of his supporting casts. He sure did struggled. But no one wants to remember that Brock actually drove the team down the field, last drive needing a FG to win the game. I think Brock figured it out after 2 bad quarters lol

All the Browns on the sideline praying hard for Moody to miss the FG, cause they were thinking they sure gonna lose the game.

Agree, when Purdy's scorers go down though, its hard to adjust. Specially if your whole game plan revolves around one player (CMC and to a lesser extent - Deebo). Kyle has to come up with alternatives if Deebo/CMC isn't available. I.e. dial up Kittle, Juice and Mason more.

Long run, you can preserve CMC's and Deebo's health better if Kyle can get the other players involved more. We need a healthy CMC going into the playoffs.

Agree and I think Aiyuk and Jauan were big parts of that last drive.
