If you have a receiver pretty open 20 yards down the field but have two d-lineman in your face about to sack you that makes a big difference for having an "inaccurate throw" in my opinion.

Another meaningless, arbitrary, made up stat collection. So stupid.

In the NFL the QB has to anticipate where the receiver will be and "throw him open". Unless they are wide open in the middle of a zone or some defender falls down , the QB can't wait until the receiver is open. That window can disappear as the defender closes on the play.

No wet ball = Purdy back to his usual accurate/tight spiral self. Don't understand why people over complicate things
trust in the force. trust in brock.

luminous being is brock, not the crude matter measured by "tangibles", "arm strength", "height", etc

Ah. That's why he's ranked #1 in the NFL.

Another brilliant advanced stat.

That does not seem right. At all. Purdy has been leading the league in Total QBR, which seems like a formula that would take inaccuracy into account. Need them to define "inaccurate". First of all was the ball caught or catchable? Does it consider whether or not the receiver ran the right route, or the QB threw the wrong route? How exactly is it defined?

I think Purdy has been much more inaccurate than a lot want to admit. I am still pleased with his play. Very pleased. But he has had multiple games where he was off.
CMC shouldn't play Monday. I wanna see if Brock can play like an MVP without CMC, Deebo, Trent Williams, and who else gonna get injured during the game

If he can throw and catch his own pass and make positive yardage like Herbert did, I might not be as skeptical.

Loses one game cause of missed fg and the doubters come out

I'm not doubting Purdy at all. They didn't lose the game just because of a missed FG. They played poorly the entire game. After the first drive they couldn't ove the ball at all until the final drive when the Browns dropped back instead of pressuring Purdy. They outplayed the Niners all day. Even offense where we were having trouble stopping their runs. Brock had his worst game and it's probably good that he got that out of the way.

IMO -- Big part of the offensive misfires was that the 2nd string guys couldn't get lined up into the correct position, or were not in synch with Purdy because of lack of playing time. I think Brock, if RayRay, Mason and Jauan had more reps with him, would have played better. I think bodes well that we still have talent behind the starters and that they only need more reps with Purdy to get up to speed. Juice did well and so did Mason in trying to replace CMC's production.

That made up nonsense means nothing at all.

Haha. I said last weekend I wanted to see how they would play off Kyle's script and facing some adversity esp. with the OL and QB in pass rush pressure.

I'm just gonna shut up for this weekend. LOL
