Wow..he just s**t the bed

What was he looking at exactly? he flat out choked. Forced a play that wasn't there. Closed his eyes and threw it.

Yea he just chocked. The defender was right there. No reason at all to thomrow that ball
Not it

Steven Ruiz was right unfortunately. If anything, he might have overrated him.

Oh you two. I'm saving this for posterity so I can quote it and laugh at you later.

You guys need to chill. Purdy is a good QB.

He played very well for the most part

Fumble on the first drive, missed FG 2nd, and still kept the offense rolling. That last play was bad though, no excuses. Oh well hopefully he learns from this.

Lol both you are such a hypocrites.

That's a lot, but they gave Purdy two chances to win the game.

Correct..defense is definitely at fault but at the end of the game in the clutch Brock chocked up twice. Hope he bounces back but we can't dance around it.
Don't post that freaking creep. Get out of here with that garbage.
hard to win when we give up close to 500 yards however at least right now it looks like Purdy isn't ready to win a shootout. When we are controlling the game he'll be great. The D fell apart and so did Purdy.
Brock is rattled.

End of the day, we only gave up 22 points. Mahomes probably has never lost a game when the other team only scores 22 points.
Say what you want, but he's the only guy who played at his pay level tonight.
He can't play from behind.

Week 1. At home.

It's probably the biggest contract he's ever going to have.
He was playing well, but he'll be judged by everyone by those two INTs. First one was messed up timing and/or miscommunication, which happens. If it was a 2nd quarter INT it wouldn't be a big deal - literally every QB throws a few of those every year. The second one was worse and a bad hero-ball choice.

He's young and he'll learn. I don't like how everyone wants to assassinate the kid now after two losses that he was only partially responsible for. There is plenty of fault to go around. Did Cousins pass for 500 yards? Sure seemed like it. CMC fumble was damning, too.

I'm still positive on Purdy. Everyone knew he wasn't the type of QB to overcome a team screwing themselves the way the whole team has these last two games. It's a team game, and while everyone wants a unicorn QB that can score 28 points every game seemingly by himself, there isn't one of those available.

He'll go through some struggles. The team in general has plenty of things to correct, and Purdy isn't even in the Top 5 IMO.
