what a disaster.

Purdy didn't play that bad, but when your defense gives up nearly 500 yards and no sacks, bad plays get magnified.

we got used to scoring 30 and teams adjusted. Shanny has to adjust not all on Purdy

Yes Kyle adjust that Purdy will throw back to back picks that will seal the game.

It's not all on Purdy by a long shot.

He choked plain and simple. BCB = Big Choke Brock.

You've been waiting for this haven't you? Well enjoy it. It's your time to shine lol

Not waiting on it. I was getting ready to crown him after the Dallas game. I thought maybe he wasn't another Jimmy and we weren't be suckered again. I started to even think maybe he is the next Montana/Brees/Brady like everyone was saying here after a handful of games.

Welp. That's dead.

First pick, as awful as it was it can be somewhat explained. But second pick was a real head scratcher.

Jennings was re-routed twice on the pick. It was a route BA had run many times and Purdy threw it based on the timing of the way BA ran it. Unfortunately, Jennings wasn't able to get through traffic and get to the spot.

IDK

I am working on a theory...he only plays great with a lead and popping defense.

League finally figured him out. Was bound to happen sooner or later, but after 2 games it's safe to say the blueprint on him is out. There really was a reason he slipped to the 7th round, we just didn't want to believe it because we've been so starved for good QB play.
Purdy is a Turdy

Dak Prescott syndrome.
Wonder what God thinks of his two picks.

He's a pretty good player. Just not great. This one is not completely on him. Defense gave up close to 500 yards. Missed FG on special teams. Zero sacks on defense with this awesome front 7. Not all Purdy.

I Honestly don't think Purdy Played bad. I feel like he played extremely well up until his first INT. The second one he needed to get a chunk play. I don't think people understand that. He forced a throw because he needed to get a chunk play in order to have a realistic chance of getting a TD. Yes, Did Purdy have a chance to lead us to a win when he threw the first INT. YEs, and he failed to do so. But it was the defense that cost us this game.

He didn't play that bad. Our defense was horrible. Also the missed FG too.

When you look at it through this lens. We had a fumble on offense and a missed field goal. Our defense only forced one punt the entire game. With the limited # of possessions our offense got and we still were within one possession. And the reason for that was because how Brock played. Everyone now wants to blame him because he had one bad INT and then a second INT in desperation time where he had to have a chunk play in order to have a chance to win. I get that he did have bad game last week in Clevland so now everyone wants to come down on him because he didn't single handed will us to a victory at the end of the game.

Yes, I understand that. A lot of his throws are built that way. But, at what point do you move on to another read? Because that is not the only time players will be re-routed. Also, didn't help having our slowest WR run that route.

I'm not putting this loss on him at all. 100% on the defense, starting with Wilks. Almost every player on that side of the ball is overpaid, starting with Bosa. I'd been hoping Purdy was the answer, he just proved he isn't. Kid certainly played to his pay level, but the defense that only forced ONE punt from that team was atrocious. Imagine if they'd have had Jefferson.

edit: Warner and Greenlaw were the ONLY players on defense that showed.
