I Honestly don't think Purdy Played bad. I feel like he played extremely well up until his first INT. The second one he needed to get a chunk play. I don't think people understand that. He forced a throw because he needed to get a chunk play in order to have a realistic chance of getting a TD. Yes, Did Purdy have a chance to lead us to a win when he threw the first INT. YEs, and he failed to do so. But it was the defense that cost us this game.
He didn't play that bad. Our defense was horrible. Also the missed FG too.
When you look at it through this lens. We had a fumble on offense and a missed field goal. Our defense only forced one punt the entire game. With the limited # of possessions our offense got and we still were within one possession. And the reason for that was because how Brock played. Everyone now wants to blame him because he had one bad INT and then a second INT in desperation time where he had to have a chunk play in order to have a chance to win. I get that he did have bad game last week in Clevland so now everyone wants to come down on him because he didn't single handed will us to a victory at the end of the game.
This game is not completely on him. He's not even the primary reason.
