Wow. It's his younger brother. I didn't know that. Looks pretty accurate too.

That's Brock's brother.

6'2" 210 lbs. He honestly looks pretty accurate to me. Reminds me of Brock throwing. They both throw an accurate spiral.

The Purdy boys have moxie

Yeah honestly I'm watching him now vs the Badgers. The dude is an accurate thrower. It's weird watching it. Like wow. Their dad was a minor league pitcher. He really taught them how to throw. They have throwing mechanics. You can really see that.

Not to say his brother is NFL worthy or anything, too early ---but Brock and his brother seem to know how to play the game of football.

Yeah I totally agree with that. They also definitely have throwing mechanics. Because of his brothers success he won't be overlooked. It's possible if he plays well he could go higher. But he's still young and a long way to go so we will see. He just has to play out College Football for now. But I would say he's an accurate thrower with good mechanics. Like his brother.
It'll be very interesting to see how Brock plays the Bucs after his performance last year. I think the Bucs team last year were checking out around the time we played them and had a lot of internal issues.

seemed like Evans and Brady had issues. Brady missed a ton of wide open passes that game too. I don't think much of baker but I'm still concerned about our o line. Ultimately, we should beat them soundly but anytbjng can happen.

Enjoy the ride with by far the most cerebral QB we've had since Steve Young.

Sums it up right there

Idk if it's good or bad in regards to how happy/sad it makes me depending on how Brock plays. Lmao. I just love having really awesome qb play from the niners and it's so damn exciting to see it.

so awesome that we have one of the best QBs in the league. Hopefully we can keep it up! I think he will become much more reliable to lead the team in tough situations as he becomes more experienced.

i always felt like jimmy was about the 8th best qb (on his best days) but typically in the 10-13th best qb most games. It's just awesome Brock usually plays like a top 5 guy every week. Reads the field well, very accurate, great leader, touch, accurate on deep passes. Short area mobility to avoid sacks. Etc etc.

what Brock is doing essentially every game is what we seldom saw from Jimmy and when we see Brock make a bonehead pick like jimmy often would, it's surprising. Lmao

if Brock finishes the year with the highest QB rating, he will be the youngest qb to do that since Dan Marino. Another marino link! Super cool

i hope he can go into the off season healthy and get the full off season program with no rehab. The more reps and experience he gets, chemistry with the coaches/players - he will do nothin but become a better surgeon out there.

He runs around pretty good. Like his brother. Wow.

No way they were checking out on Tom Brady's homecoming. Brady hit evans for a long TD, but it was called back. Our defense was lights out.

that game will always be remembered on top of the beat down, my son was the kick off kid and we got to be on the 49ers sidelines until after kick off

Those Bucs finished with a losing record and 3-4 in the final seven games. They were absolute crap. Don't get me wrong, I think we played really well and dominated but I remember watching the game and thinking "that guy was wide open and Brady just missed him" like 7 times. It wasn't really our guys shutting down anyone. I'll have to review the game but I remember a wide open TD pass was Brady just completely missed.

maybe it can be attributed to getting pressure on him, I'll have to look back, but our offense was what dominated. Our defense was lucky the Bucs were so out of sync on numerous plays. I remember our players saying something like the Bucs had given up by halftime (I believe it was 28 or something at halftime).

it was an awesome win. Brock was awesome too - threw a few dimes, but those Bucs looked like complete trash and like they were going through the motions just trying to get the season over, to me.

I agree with everything except jimmy. He was and continues to be a backup. He was never a top 20 Qb. He is where he belongs. On the sidelines holding a clipboard. He is backing up a rookie… again. He wasted our time, money and patience.

Lol at least in the super bowl catagory. I'll take less touchdowns and yards in exchange for super bowl wins. Kinda crazy how he never won one. Usually guys of his caliber get one - like Bree's got one, Rodgers got at least one. Etc

its obviously a team sport and not all in him but kinda wild that over a long, very successful career, he never got one.
