When you do something that's been done 80 times ever in the history of the NFL, I'd say that is pretty elite.

For the dorks among you, the actual mathematical cap for passer rating, if you ignore the NFL's imposed highest limit of 158.3, is 831.25, which occurs when you throw one pass for 99 yards and a touchdown:

((((1/1 - 0.3) x 5)+((99/1 - 3) x .25)+((1/1) x 20)+(2.375 - (0/1) x 25))/6)*100 = 831.25.

It seems really weird they chose 158.3 as the magic number. How about 200? How about 150? Why such a weird number rather than a round number? I'm sure there's an explanation.

Regardless, 158.3 has been reached like dozens of times in NFL history, so what Brock did today was very special.

I saw somewhere that Brock is now 1 of 22 QB's in NFL history to attempt 25+ passes in a game and have a perfect passer rating.

what I don't get, is he was nearly 100% vs Arz, why was that not a perfect rating?

20/21 and he kinda threw it away for the incomplete, iirc

so he had 2 perfect games, basically

Hes consistently done amazing things. It's just too good to be true imo.

lets not rush to judgment

we still need to see him comeback from down 20 in the fourth quarter with all his weapons injured

Brock is the 23rd by my quick alcohol affected scan.

*23rd game. Didn't check to see if someone had done it twice.

The past two weeks are prime examples of why folks who suddenly started saying "Purdy ain't it, we need a new QB" after the first hint of adversity were way overreacting.

Also, to the 🤡s outside the team saying: "Oh yeah? Well how about you take away his weapons and starting tackle and a coach that knows how to call plays! Put him on a trash team with no weapons, no protection, and a clueless coach who can't scheme.. THEN, if he's still good.. THEN I'LL BELIEVE!"

That's some of the dumbest sh** I've ever heard, honestly. We all saw what happened to Russell Wilson when that happened. Of course a lesser QB in Trevor Lawrence is another example.
Keep playing like this KID! I want him to play like this against the Ravens and Eagles!

Close enough.
I've seen enough. He is the MVP of the team.

he plays bad we lose 3 straight. He plays great we win all.

we are actually much more reliant on him than the defense.
Ppl who said, "he ain't it" simply have not watched enough football. He has been it since he has hit the field.

He's not it.

he is him.

I had to edit my post. It needs a deeper dive, lol.

Brock was the 23rd game where it happened but he might only be the the 22nd QB as a QB can do it more than once. I noticed Lord Brady did it twice.

Kind of funny that Jared Goff is the one on that list with the most attempts.

He's the MVP of the offense… I don't think there's a great argument otherwise. But being honest, the nature/importance of the position helps his argument.

For example CMC might be a better RB than Brock is a QB, but one of those players is much more replaceable than the other.
