While he doesn't necessarily have the absolute howitzer that Brett did, Purdy definitely has some Favre in him. May not have quite the cannon, but definitely plenty of arm strength, and nowhere near the turnovers.

Does anyone think that Purdy is playing through an injury? Looks like the playbook only has short passes and those do not see to have the same zip on them? Any thoughts??

I haven't heard anything.
But a lot of it is that the Seahawks seemed determined to take away the intermediate/deep crossers. Everything was underneath, and forced Brock to have to methodically throw short passes. Good test of discipline. Run game was on point though, so he didn't have to hard carry the passing game.
