Haha. 100% unrelated to what's been repeated by you here in QB threads, but yes,...winning is important to the team and the fans. The sky is also blue.

What is your point about Brock here?

These were all fair takes for a kid that only played a couple games. Ya'll were calling him Joe Montana after a couple games because that's what you wanted…I said he would throw more INTs because yes he did have a ton of dropped INTs. His arm isn't great. Never said that means he would suck. In fact I went out of my way to point that out. You they wayyyy too hard man.

my takes have ALWAYS been able to change as their games progressed. I never have to jump all in (or out) on someone over a couple games…unlike a f**k ton of people.

Has he thrown more INTs? All QBs have AlmostInts.
His arm is fantastic. It is strong and accurate enough for him to be one of, if not the best deep passer, in the NFL.

Works for me. If you can play you can play… no need to makeup stuff like his arm strength is comparable to guys like Lance/Kap though. Next they're gonna say he's as tall as Peyton Manning lol.

Arm strength is only one small part of having a good arm.
Release time, touch and accuracy matter.

Oh I'm not saying it was the wrong choice. He knew he could make it. But with deep coverage there and only 2 routes, Kyle is telling you why he expected the Woerner route (safer route based on the deep coverage). But with Brock, everything is on the table and he's proven it. All in all, it was probably a TD either way (or close to the GL) so it was also an excellent call ATM. Great all around. We're only talking semantics on who the primary was, could have been, should have been, etc. based on the pre snap coverage. No biggie. I would have been happy with either.

There's no semantic debate. Woerner was never the primary. Kyle thought from his vantage point, without the benefit of the all 22, that the coverage was too tight and it dictated a throw to Woerner. Brock saw it differently from his vantage point. Once Kyle sees the film and see what Brock saw he'd undoubtedly have a different take.

I wouldn't say his arm is fantastic. It's certainly good enough to make the throws that are needed for this team. I wouldn't put him in the same league as Mahomes, Allen, Burrow or Herbert. Those guys have really strong arms. That doesn't mean they're better than Purdy who's playing at a really high level . Deep passes in the NFL are passes over 20-25 air yards. Brock is accurate out to 30 yards at least. Forty to 50 yard passes are rare for any QB but the 4 I named above have the arm strength to throw them if needed.

His arm is not fantastic. It's passable and can get the job done.

A lot of those INTs this yr was some of the same s**t that he did in college and the stuff that was dropped last yr. He's gotta play better when we're behind and on those early downs. I love the gunslinger stuff, but INTs on 1st/2nd down and in the RZ are killer.

he's young and improving, but it sounds like you don't think he has any flaws and nothing he can improve upon. I'll disagree.
I say the article about Cowherd commenting on Purdy wearing his hat backwards at the podium. It's no huge deal but I think the backward hat look is bad. It was bad 20 yers ago and it's still bad today. It really does make a person look like a frat boy or video gamer. I know Brock is young but he's the QB for one of the top franchises in the league. Part of being a leader is looking like one.

Like I said, it's not a huge issue but he could easily just turn that hat around and show the team logo.

Let's talk football??

Have they been about-equally aggressive players on the field of play in the NFL in your view?

I'm all for substance,...you just seem to skip over it at every opportunity.

Brutal honesty Trolling

You just wish it were.

You and honesty? And substance? Lol stop it.

No reply? Case-in-point.
lol he will reply with an insult. thats the extent of his football knowledge

I've forgotten more about football than random or you know, that is for sure. 90% of your posts offer absolutely nothing of substance, and your arguments are constantly changing.
nailed it

as for my posts.. They are the reason you are looking foolish in every thread. as for change, thats you, i can stay on topic

Bingo. It's not like we're hating on Brock or think he stinks. I'm more than happy to have him in SF as our starter

This is all I think of when I hear people complain about someone wearing a backwards hat

What a bunch of horrible leaders

He is arguably the best deep ball passer in the NFL this year and he leads the league in a ton of passing stats. His release is super quick.

That means he has a great arm.

Strong arm does not equal great arm.
