We naturally need to draft and develop someone to replace Trent,...but that word "need" is too strong of a word. He's not a statue out there.

the word need is based on what the team (ie Brock) looked like with and without Trent and others. You can actually see the difference in running left with Trent and company and running right. You can see what the run game does with and without those dudes...it looks different.

Like most QBs ...if you want peak QB, you need as much protection as you can afford.

Anyways...that is my take...the 49ers need to beef up the line this off season.

Get as much run blocking and pass protection as you can afford and keep this QB upright with as much play action threat as you can and Brock will take this team deep into the post season for the next decade.
