Couldn't agree more. I don't want Brock taking any unnecessary punishment, and we get bigger plays when he extends plays rather than running. I see Purdy's mobility more like Wilson's in his prime. Escapability, extending plays and sliding in the pocket. Hurts was doing some of those things to our D line but was rarely able to find an open receiver even with the extra time. Seems he was looking for like 10 seconds on some plays. Credit to what Wilks has been able to do on the back end of the defense.

That's one thing I like about Kyle's offense. He has so much eye-candy going on, as a defender, you don't know where the ball is under a Kyle Shanahan shell-game offense. It takes a special defense to figure out Kyle's offense and get into the right run fits and pass coverages. Those three losses - with Deebo and CMC out - really took out that huge part of the 49er dimension of misdirection's.
