i have a ton of respect for the ravens coaches and front office but I question how good they really are because of their schedule. It'll be a huge test for both teams but I'm glad it's a home game for us.

Garcia threw it deep more. He had better possession deep receivers who could win jump balls. I'm not even sure his arm was better than purdys just that his receivers were better at catching deep contested passes. He had better blocking than purdy has this year and the style was closer on the scale toward air raid than closer on the scale to west coast that we run now. They were both still wco but Garcia's features more prayers thrown up deep.

Garcia is more mobile and is a a better scrambler. He doesn't really throw the ball very well.

I think overall Purdy's a better athlete than Jeff. There is a reason Jeff was undrafted and went to the Canadian football league. Having said that, I think Jeff's processor is just a tad slower than Purdy's and accuracy a tad less than Purdy's. I think they are very comparable in terms of mobility - with Purdy being a tad slower than Jeff.

it's one thing having conviction in your "analysis" it's another thing to be a stubborn asshat who can't change his "analysis" after the fact. Zero credibility imo.

He said that the Niners can't win the Superbowl with Purdy but could with Sam Darnold. I guess Shanahan didn't get the memo.
Ruiz is just a guy that wants to be the new Nick Wright. Plus, he has a bias for big athletic, strong armed QBs.
He had Burrow behind Herbert and Allen in his ranking at the beginning of the season.

Agreed. Purdy is far superior IMO. That whole era felt like the beginning of the end from the start. The Garcia era felt both short and like we were going downhill fast.

Purdy feels like we're looking at a future Hofer and probably future top 5 all time QB. The way he's started is unprecedented good and the leap from year 2-3 for QBs is usually the biggest. Next year he may be scary good and take a ton of single season records imo. It will become an unquestionable debate between him and mahomes as current best even amongst the media.

Brousard burned him badly on that. Showing the YAC is less for Purdy than it was for Mahomes and some others. Wow. Nick WRONG just does hot takes and doesn't even look at the stats or watch games. He just sticks with certain narratives.
