Back before the mid-late 2000s, 99% of players lied about their height and weight. They inflated them to make them sound like better prospects. I've met montana, and sure he was older and most likely shrunk some, but I highly doubt he was ever 6'2. Lol

this is why I always laugh when people
try to say Brock is small. He's really not. He's just
not huge like Trevor Lawrence but he isn't small like drew Bree's, Russell Wilson, or Bryce young. He's along the ACTUAL heights of a majority of players.

Every single height/weight I've seen of Steve is 6-2 215lbs

I mean overall for the QB position he's below the avg…6'2 1/2 and 219lbs is the avg as of January 2023.

not sure how you can say Brees is small at 6'1 213lbs, but Brock at 6'0 5/8 212lbs isn't?

overall I don't really care…doesn't seem to be an issue.

What I'm saying is that none of that's accurate. Look up their combine information, not what the player claims. It's well known that Bree's is under 6 foot - they talked about on live broadcast before during games.

everyone inflated their height and weight during recruiting (for just about all sports - NBA just made everyone correct their actual heights. Guys like KD have always been 7 foot plus and lebron claims to be 6'8 when he's really 6'10-11.

im not trying to say you don't know what you're talking about. I'm saying the narrative behind player heights at QB is mainly based on falsehoods that the players created to make themselves a better prospect.

so I don't consider Brock to be small, he's pretty average. I personally think that when you're under 6 foot - you're on the small side of NFL QBs. Not many fall in that catagory. We have to compare them to their peers, not normal people.

most guys we look up on their stats page for their physical height/weight are inflated (or less than weight).

it isn't like they ever measure these guys outside of the combine. There isn't an annual data NFL does to release it. It's all private info the teams have.

how can i forget that one lol

Patrick mahommes is just over 6'2, so is dashaun watson.

jalen hurts is 6'1 even. Tua is 6'0 even. Brock is 6'0 5/8 (a hair under 6'1.

A lot of guys are in this range. Trubisky, who will be starting for the Steelers is 6'2.

the best way to get know what someone really is - take half an inch to an inch off of whatever their profile says, that's usually what they are. Lol in Bree's and Russ Wilson, it's 1.5 inches to 2.

That's what I put on my dating profile, works 100% of the time, 60% of the time.

Brock has shown a lot of great traits that the best QBs do. It's really fun to watch.

the first thing about him that caught my eye when he played was his confidence, composure, and command of the huddle. It was like he had always been out there and this team always been his. It was almost like an instant match made in heaven.

i just want to see him keep it up. I love the consistency behind it so far.

Agree.

On one of his first reps in the Miami game, they showed a head-on shot of him as he came under center. The first thing he did was look up at the play clock and then begin his count. I mentioned to my wife that this was a savvy kid. Yep.

Weird. That chart says Purdy is 2nd best when trailing or tied, but his rating and QBR say he's near last. I don't think that represents him as a whole because he's trailing or tied so rarely. So I need to know how each of these metrics are reached to fully understand what they're saying if they are that far apart.

Yeah not sure where they're getting this chart from?

Honestly, anyone can make a chart like this and place random dots all over. I have no clue how accurate it is and I probably shouldn't have posted it.

Weird that Hurts is better when trailing than when ahead.
