Back before the mid-late 2000s, 99% of players lied about their height and weight. They inflated them to make them sound like better prospects. I've met montana, and sure he was older and most likely shrunk some, but I highly doubt he was ever 6'2. Lol
this is why I always laugh when people
try to say Brock is small. He's really not. He's just
not huge like Trevor Lawrence but he isn't small like drew Bree's, Russell Wilson, or Bryce young. He's along the ACTUAL heights of a majority of players.
Every single height/weight I've seen of Steve is 6-2 215lbs
I mean overall for the QB position he's below the avg…6'2 1/2 and 219lbs is the avg as of January 2023.
not sure how you can say Brees is small at 6'1 213lbs, but Brock at 6'0 5/8 212lbs isn't?
overall I don't really care…doesn't seem to be an issue.
What I'm saying is that none of that's accurate. Look up their combine information, not what the player claims. It's well known that Bree's is under 6 foot - they talked about on live broadcast before during games.
everyone inflated their height and weight during recruiting (for just about all sports - NBA just made everyone correct their actual heights. Guys like KD have always been 7 foot plus and lebron claims to be 6'8 when he's really 6'10-11.
im not trying to say you don't know what you're talking about. I'm saying the narrative behind player heights at QB is mainly based on falsehoods that the players created to make themselves a better prospect.
so I don't consider Brock to be small, he's pretty average. I personally think that when you're under 6 foot - you're on the small side of NFL QBs. Not many fall in that catagory. We have to compare them to their peers, not normal people.
most guys we look up on their stats page for their physical height/weight are inflated (or less than weight).
it isn't like they ever measure these guys outside of the combine. There isn't an annual data NFL does to release it. It's all private info the teams have.
