MVP or not— don't care. Goes for CMC too.
What he does week 13— don't care although it was important. Gonna have to do it again when it counts.

The narratives are traps and I love how the kid keeps his head and focus on the game. At points in every game, he and we will have to prove it and prove it and prove it.

Keep the MVP talk out of this locker room. We haven't done anything. Most Valuable Team is all that matters. Earn it.

Seems kinda similar to 2023 9ers O

Aiyuk - 1st 25th pick
CMC - draft #8 overall but the 9ers only spent a 2nd, 4th, 5th and whatever else round picks, it still doesn't equal a top 10 pick.
Deebo - 2nd round
Kittle - 5th round
Purdy - 7th round

I won't say Purdy has less, but Kittle, Purdy and Deebo are playing much better than what they were projected to be in the NFL.
Joe said he. would have loved to play on this team.

He had incredible talent every year he played. Don't kid yourself. Pre salary cap era Eddie D fielded the best team in football every year. Joe had incredible advantages.
Add how much Brock is gonna make in a contract extension to the list of things I don't care about.
Is there a Joe Montana thread? Seems like that could be poppin.

10th most pressured QB- 39.6%
12th highest completion rate- 52.1%
4th highest YPA- 7.3
3rd most TD's- 8
10th most INT's- 4
9th lowest pressure to sack rate- 14.8%
10th lowest TTT- 3.17 seconds
12th most 1st downs- 38
6th highest passer rating- 84.3

Brock also is 3rd in the league in converting on 3rd down at 47.5%.

This is kind of surprising for me. For some reason I thought he was #1 in most categories when under pressure

I think he is #1 in most categories against the blitz, not just against pressure in general.

exactly, both teams are not stacked with blue chippers

How do you define "blue chips"? Im not trying to say you're wrong, just curious how you see it. I personally look at blue chips as guys who would do well in any system. But maybe you're saying that they weren't guys who came into the league amazing - outside of maybe CMC.

I see Aiyuk, kittle, and CMC as guys that would fit about anyway scheme and still be good. Although they had to be developed by our staff.

personally, I'll never apologize for our team being excellent since 2017 at identifying, not just diamonds in the rough, but excellent fits for our scheme. Developing them. The only all pro we have that we didn't draft and develop is Trent Williams.

Brock may not be as good in another situation but I think that can be said for just about any young qb. Brock is in just about as ideal of a situation as possible for a young guy. But we've also seen that guys like Lance and jimmy weren't able to do what he's been doing.

so like I said, I won't apologize to these dips**t people for the 49ers being excellent at identifying players with great talent, love for the game, hard working, excellent fits for the scheme. That's just called doing the front office/coaching staff doing their job at an extremely high level

I want Brock to get paid. If he's making a fortune in 2 years, that means we are still getting excellent QB play from him. I'm just curious what kind of deal he takes because it'll have a dramatic impact on how well rounded the team will be in 3-5 years.

im just optimistic that Brock takes the Brady approach and not the Josh allen, mahommes (at least he's won Super Bowls), hurts etc Route. They all have way worse teams than they've had in recent years and a big part of that is how much less money they have now.

chiefs couldn't keep all their weapons (only kept Kelce cause he's taking less than he could). Bills gm has openly said it's much more difficult now that allen and diggs make so much. The eagles defense is a bit worse than last year because they had to let a ton of talent go in order to pay hurts.

So those teams are already thin and then when you factor in annual injuries, they're really thin.

it's part Of the game and happens to most teams but I'm just hoping we get lucky and Brock takes 80%-85% of what he will be able to most likely get.

Lmao I was reading about Brock's endorsements and one person said "he's been working with BWW" and someone said "as a serve or behind the bar"

and this guy responded with this. Lmaoo

This whole media and social media narrative about Brock is sickening. If any1 watches this kid week in and week out, it's so obvious that he's special. Then you get these talking heads that know nothing about football trying to tear him down. F all the outside noise, we know what we got in BCB. He just keeps winning , and they just keep moving the goalposts. Maybe when we get 6 they will stfu

Honestly, I care. Player and coach accolades bring prestige to this organization. That is why I am fighting hard on social media to bring awareness to how great Brock Purdy has been this season and why he deserves MVP over every other QB in the league. Let him and the team keep proving it on the football field. While the rest of us keep fighting for our players on the social media platforms. So we can influence the opinions of these non football watching fools who speak and influence the mainstream public. Those mainstream guys are all over social media and they all have handles. Keep feeding them facts and they won't be able to ignore it.
