He benefits from it too. It's not equal offensive lines. Take Trent Williams out and it's a garbage pile for us. He was for 3 games.

Agree that Dallas has a good OLine, and prior to the Eagles game, probably they did have the better OLine than we did. Having said that, this 49er OLine is pretty young and getting better. I really didn't see the 49er OLine getting consistently physically overpowered by the Eagle DLine, and that's not an average DLine. The 49ers basically dominated the Eagles DLine - kind of shows me the progress this Offensive LIne had made during the course of the season. McKivitz isn't the passing turnstile that McGlinchy is, for example. He's done decent. Burford seems to be getting on the same page as Brendel and McKivitz. Depth is decent too, with Feliciano doing decent in place of Banks. They are operating more as a unit than ever before, and those *in game* reps really is a big deal in improving their performance and coordination as the season wears on. It also does help that Brock doesn't hold the ball longer than he does, for sure.
The cowboys RT was absolutely horrendous vs the eagles last time

Generational talent.
  1. First NFL rookie with four touchdowns in a playoff game.
  2. Led the 49ers to their highest-scoring game with a rookie starting quarterback in last week's 41-23 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
  3. Joined Matthew Stafford, Aaron Rodgers and Kurt Warner as the only players with 300-plus passing yards and four-plus touchdowns in their first playoff game.

He's saying you don't see nearly as much of it in college cause it's usually not required.
I think it's as simple as people just weren't paying attention to Brock in college because where he was playing, what Nick Saban said about him, and he wasn't super tall. If they would've paid attention to him, they would've seen the combo of high football IQ, accuracy, sufficient arm, and plenty of athleticism in and out of the pocket.

"Those are two things that Purdy does at a really high level that didn't show up on his college tape."
