Mahomes being an entitled b***h today has officially put Purdy into the "I wouldn't trade him for any other QB" zone. Before today Mahomes was the exception, but not anymore. As Steve Young has often said a QB leader always takes the blame and doesn't whine about things that don't go your way. Your teammate runs the wrong route that results in an INT a QB should say "I need to work harder at being on the same page as my guys." A ref makes a call you don't agree with you say "We need to work harder to not let those calls decide the game." You get praised for being the hero you say "I just take it one game at a time and know I need to improve on a, b and c." You win the Super Bowl and Super Bowl MVP you praise your teammates for fighting through it all and never giving up - even if you are hugging the Lombardi like it's your child.
I hope Purdy always stays humble and never slips into silver-spooned whiner like Mahomes did today.
I wouldn't trade Purdy for any other qb since the Miami game. It doesn't surprise me, the outburst by Mahomes. He just has that vibe, entitled. I don't really see BP going off in that direction. He seems legit, like Young. Just a good leader, humble. He is wise for his years, I defo do not see a cry baby meltdown. Nope.
