Looking at that comparison chart I can understand why some people have Dak as MVP. First of all he doesn't have as many weapons as Purdy. None of us can deny that their playmakers just don't match up with SF. The other thing is he plays for the Cowboys. Like it or not, those Eastern writers are going to favor a guy from the NFC East over the NFC West if it's close. I think it should be Purdy but I won't be upset if Dak wins it. Especially if the Niners win the SB.

I think Dallas' next stretch of games will settle things, as far as the legitimacy of Dak, and the team, as a whole. The entire season, I've held the belief that they've been benefiting against really weak competition. The next couple games will be against the Bills, Dolphins, and Lions. Now we can actually see if Dak and the Cowboys are indeed legit.

Dak has a much better offensive line than Purdy. It's not close. It should be Purdy and yes I will be upset. Because he shouldn't be cheated this bad. Don't worry Dak OVERRATED will lose to one or both of Buffalo and Miami. Should Purdy win out and Beat the Ravens he can win it. But we probably have to win them all and especially play well against the Ravens. In that case he can win the MVP.
we can count on Dak to eff up, he tried to give the game away last night

I will be upset for the reason you stated. Because Dak will only win it over Brock due to east coast bias and not because he has been better. The only thing that would make me feel better at that point is witnessing Brock become the SB MVP.

Texas Coast bias

He's not going to win both at Buffalo and Miami. He will lose 1 or both of those games. Probably even play bad. Should Purdy win out and especially play well against the Ravens and win he can win the MVP.

I'm betting if Brock was playing in the 2019 Superbowl game, he'd have hit Emmanuel Sanders for the win, by the way he was hitting the deep passes in the Seattle game yesterday.

I was thinking about this today too. Man I wish he was our QB during that run

It's all good. He's about to take us on another five year run ???? this time, finishes the job. Unlike jimmy missessandersoppollo

What is amazing is Brock is posting Steve Young 1994 numbers as a 2nd year QB. He was already posting Jimmy G numbers last year as a rookie. Man o man, wait till Purdy has a topflight OLine, with Deebo, Kittle, Aiyuk, CMC - he'll be setting some NFL records that might not be broken for decades. He still has two years more on that rookie contract!

The question is will they be able to keep all those players.

With an additional $38M in cap over the next two years, there is hope.
I really don't care if Purdy wins an MVP or not. Individual accolades are meaningless to me as a fan. Dak can have the MVP every year for all I care, let the 49ers win the SB. Manning has more MVP's than Montana or Brady but I'll take their SB success over his any day.

I think really the next big test for Brock is going to be going up against a tough Ravens defense on Christmas. That's about as complete of a defense as you're going to find in the NFL and unlike the Eagles and Seahawks, the 49ers aren't going to be able to just pick on a weak group of LB's so it'll be interesting to see how Kyle and Purdy and the rest of the offense handle them, especially with both teams likely in the hunt for homefield throughout the playoffs.

The accolades are what write a HOF resume. The more HOF's a franchise has the more prestige it brings to the organization.

Can you? Because I absolutely cannot. Dak is CLEARLY #2 when you look at this chart.

Yep, Patrick Queen and Roquan Smith are the best pair of LBs not named Warner and Greenlaw.

The Ravens are going to be the ultimate test - Strength vs. Strength.

I do care. He deserves it and a league MVP under his belt will go a long way to shutting up some of these idiot hot takes guys.

I want it all. League MVP, #1 seed, go to Super Bowl, win Super Bow, Super Bowl MVP. No reason not to take it ALL.

Winning SBs brings prestige. I care about that.

Brock will hold up that trophy and talk about how 261 mistakes were made
