Very little posters wanted Trey to start over a healthy Purdy... it seems pretty dishonest to keep acting like this was a widely accepted view.
At least on the webzone... twitter was another story.
I was in the mindset that Purdy wouldn't be ready to start the season which would give Trey a chance to start a few games until Purdy is healthy. Then Kyle would have to make the decision then based on the performance of Trey and who he thinks is better to run the offense.
Since Purdy came back a lot earlier than I expected, the decision was easy.
