He doesn't care about his credibility. He wants clicks.
He litterally said that the Niners have no chance to win the Superbowl with Purdy but he believes that they can do it with Sam Darnold.
Who seriously could think that? Let's say, that was the case, Shanahan would have put Sam Darnold on the field week one.
Like I said, he just wants clicks just like Nick Wright who would find any weird arguments to prove that Burrow and Allen are just peasants in comparison of Mahomes.

How much do you guys think Purdy would want per year if we had to pay him next year? He seems like a very humble and down to earth guy, but I'm sure he'll be thinking about his future as well.

At least Wright isn't arguing Purdy is bottom 10 starter. Ruiz is absolutely embarrassing himself. He could just say he wants his guys with elite arm strength and mobility and be done with it. Instead he's strategically ignoring the fact that Brock is one of the best QBs in the league in AIR YARDS, because he's absolutely lethal between 12 and 25 yards down the field, and he's also tremendously accurate on passes beyond that.
FOR THE RECORD, by the way, the winning distance in the NFL is somewhere around eight to twenty yards. If your guy is elite there, you will win a lot of games. If he can also hit the 35-40 yard bomb — as Brock can — he's probably going to be a Super Bowl winning guy at some point in his career. If he can also clean up in the short game, he might wear a gold jacket.

I bet he'd be satified as a top 5 highest paid QB. I don't see him pushing to be #1.

What's pathetic is that those dudes don't care about being complete sellouts for being the dumb guy/dissent dude idk what. I am loser baby, so why don't they pay me? 🎶. Literally gets paid to be against the grain and all logic. Just to show up in a suit and be a complete moron. Fake as all s**t but hey..they get the monies so good on them I guess. "What does your husband do for a living?" "Well, he is a troll in a suit basically." "That's kinda hot?" "Not really..but I get to spend his dough..which is hot".

People pay money to hear their biases presented back to them as if they were fact.

Dak just became the MVP favorite because he posted a 99.4 QB rating against the eagles at home. Purdy 1 week earlier posted a 148.8 QB rating in Philly. Nearly 50 points higher. Am I missing something? How did Dak overtake him from playing far worse? #mvpurdy

Idk but I think he would take a cut though if it bennies the team. Not a big one of course but a smaller one maybe. He prolly isn't gunna get all money greedy and throw out excessive demands (Or throw tantrums, helmets, gum..etc) lol.
