One of the more odd MVP wins (not saying he didn't deserve it)

For years I heard people trying to convince me that Garoppolo was good.
Now I hear people trying to convince me that Purdy is bad.
Crazy world I guess.

Yup. He can't hold a candle to Brock_STAR.
He couldn't manage to jump on a ball.

How does an injury compare to a chickens**t effort on the biggest stage in the sport?

I agree with this observation. Reminds me of Rodgers too.
He will probably have more rings than Rodgers though
It's funny I don't see the Rodgers comparison. Rodgers was outwardly arrogant, lol… for good reason.
I think the Brady comparison is better. We're just in the beginning.

Some say arrogant, others say cocky, some say confident. I mean Purdys has a couple of those celebrations this year that fit the above description. He does play a bit "arrogant" too. The cross body throws, passes while about hit the ground, his scrambles at times. And it's all just controlled and he moves on to the next play afterwards. In the media they are definitely different (thankfully) but just their on the field personalities, I see a lot of similarities, which imo is a very good thing.

You know, I think you are right about Rodgers, come to think of it. When playing GB with Favre and then Aaron, I may have just blotted some stuff out haha. I hated facing them. It was kinda dread and wanted it to all go away. Haha.
As far as temperament goes, I honestly just don't see BP losing his cool, throwing s**t or whatever...like a tablet..
or a helmet like Homer. BP is emotionally balanced it seems. Dude got his arm busted right before a chance at the SB and didn't have a meltdown.

I look at arrogance as mostly a positive in NFL football, to address your top sentence.
I just think personality wise it's not a great comparison. I see Brock as likely a better natural leader and I bet we see those Brady on-field traits once he's fully established.
