Quarterback efficiency when throwing quickly (under 2.5 sec) and holding onto it longer (over 2.5 seconds). Avg EPA on longer plays is negative due to sacks and higher chance for turnovers. Look at the Brocktopus all the way by himself like he's the new Mahomes pic.twitter.com/oIP66wSWAp

Did anyone ask Cam whether he believed Tom Brady was a system QB and whether Brady is GOAT?

Everyone pushing the "Brock Purdy is just a byproduct of an elite supporting cast"-narrative just totally neglects to mention that he has a bottom-5 offensive line

I legit thought numbers like this would be impossible playing behind an OL this bad. Only Joe Burrow comes close pic.twitter.com/kR6spYnI0r

The 2 biggest differences between JG & BP from what I see is : #1 JG is not as accurate as BP. #2 Where JG would take the check down most of the time, BP will go for the kill shot further down the field. Also Brock hits the receivers in stride more than JG did. I'm glad we have him
I would also add that Brock has been one of the better QB's in avoiding sacks and making plays out of structure while Jimmy was one of the worst.
If we are going to mention only two 'biggest differences', one of them should be the ability to read defenses. imo
1. ability to quickly diagnose defenses
2. everything else
The list is getting longer with each game he learns and gets better. JG would keep making the same mistakes over and over again. When JG came to the Niners we were on a streak of some pretty bad QB play so he did help show what the Offense could be. The thing is Purdy came along and showed just how much better it can be and it sure looks great from where I have been watching!!!!

And CAR would have spent that draft pick on him time and again if they knew they were gonna get a 7 year franchise guy that could take them to Super Bowl and have a chance to win it. I remember seasons when Rodgers, Brees, Manning and Brady (only won because Pete decided to pass at the goal line) could not overcome the LOB but Cam because of his physique could stand up to them and beat them even in SEA during the peak years of the Legion of Boom. The same LOB that decimated Manning prior to him getting a defense on par with SEA the following year. Cam had his time albeit short and in that time he was able to accomplish things only a handful alive can claim. He EARNED his right to his opinion and if a team needed a quick fix band aid to get to a chip and win a Super Bowl then prime Cam would be an instant cheat code
Now Purdy on the other hand, a guy that plays the position between his ears to compensate for not having a physique like Cam is the type of guy that excels in the way we are playing ball and it is a sustainable style of play that can grant one a 10 to 15 year career. In life there are folk supremely gifted from the heavens above and that alone gives them the chance to be elite for a time and then there are others with certain gifts but a keen sense of intuition and self awareness and an abundance of work ethic that can create for themselves a lane in which to thrive for a longer time than the supremely gifted one.
Me personally, I think Brock may be on the path to giving us that Montana type franchise cornerstone the next 10 to 15 years just like Montana and Brees. Those are lofty aspirations but it looks as if he may be on that tract even this early because just like Montana and Brees had their Walsh and Payton, Purdy has his Kyle Shanahan. Sometimes you get a pairing at QB and play caller that just works and it sure seems as if we have found that pairing

True, and as with all opinions, there's folks that will agree, and there will be folks that disagree. But the facts are the facts. An 80% winning percentage pretty much sums it up, and that is a fact, not an opinion.
Cam is still mad at 49ers for this beatdown:
I think it's this vicious, dirty hit that makes him hate the 49ers.

I would have loved to see what Kyle would have done with Colin. I'm betting Colin would have had some sort of an RGIII situation and possible production stats if Colin had the weapons Brock has today. Having said that, Colin - by the time Kyle came on board in 2017 - was done and distracted by a ton of non-football issues. I still think Trey and Colin would have been great QB's just needed to focus on his profession in Colin's situation, and Trey just needs more reps in his situation.
Kyle could probably build a credible offense around Cam too, but knowing Kyle, he's looking for that Brock Purdy guy that he has now. Kyle hit the lotto jackpot with Brock!

I don't think that was dirty. He just tried to time the snap and messed up. He certainly was just trying to play and not trying to hurt anyone.

Even after 20 years of mediocrity the Raiders still have more playoff wins than every team in the AFC West. https://t.co/ZNFQSZI8j2

after this year, we will have the most playoff wins of all time and 6 Super Bowls. Can't wait
