I think he said that the 49ers' passes short of the line of scrimmage alone… still rank 1st in the league in YPA.
Brock Purdy has averaged 11.0 yards per attempt when targeting screens this season, most of any QB in a season since 2018 (min. 20 such attempts).

Interesting, though why'd he use Jimmy's numbers from 2021 and not 2022? For the record, Jimmy's EPA/play with CMC in 2022 was .331.

I don't know the volume/quantity, but I heard we're ranked 28th in attempts at or behind the line of scrimmage.

On one hand, you could say it's cherrypicking stats to reinforce an assertion.
But on the other hand, you could also say that the 6 games they played together is not a large enough sample size vs. the entire 2021 season.
